That's good to hear, Vienna; I hope you won't be eating all the biscuits at once (although I probably would!).

I just received an e-mail from the lady at the British Embassy in Athens who arranged my Emergency Travel Document, asking if I had any issues using it in South America (as it was quite a complicated itinerary). I know from the time I spent there just how busy the embassy is and it was really kind of her to take the time to ask. It's really brightened up my day!

When the pets forget i'm here and curl up on the sofa and go to sleep together. Its clearly what they do all day when I am out, but the dog was here first and originally quite jealous of the cat getting half the attention. It makes me chuckle that she seems kind of embarrassed by anyone seeing that she secretly likes the cat a lot.

Daw thats cute. My dog will join in a howl if I put a wolf recording on and howl along. Weirdly with a recording or in her sleep is the only time she ever makes that noise.

Yesterday, one of the kids at the school I work at asked me 'Have you had a good day?', in a really sincere way too. It particularly made me smile, as this kid usually likes to throw things at people.

When my cat (like now) is rolling all over the bed with the new cat nip toy we bought her today. It will probably make the bed smell but oh well. She also carries it around in her mouth making little chirruping sounds and then drops it at our feet like it's a special gift.
