I'm a dad now!

My girlfriend gave birth to our first baby this week, she is the cutest little girl.

I can't believe something so amazing came from me, I don't even know how to put it into words how happy I am.

I'm so proud of my gf. I have come to realise that there is so much you have to sacrifice to become a mother, but in spite of all that my gf would go through the pain every single day for our little girl. So much admiration for her.

I could stare at her forever. The other day she was asleep and the sound of her own fart woke her up, and she gave me a look as if to say "yeah I fart, no biggie, It's what I do, yo".

Her dad is such a mental nutcase.... Wow she's gonna be so cool.

Oh by the way, did you know that when a woman gives birth, that's not the end of labor... They still need to push out the placenta. What the...!

I got to say... The midwives were all brilliant, whatever they get paid, it ain't enough. They do a very tough job, but the care they provide is amazing, they went way beyond the call of duty to make sure my girlfriend had a safe and comfortable labor. I respect them and the job they do so much.


Oh, and I got a job! Start in a few weeks!

Yeah I knew she was expecting, we found out she was pregnant on Red Nose Day.
