Same. It's like my mood has a limit of 'meh'.

Not bad. Two days off work and nothing I need to do. :-)

I always feel guilty about wasting the day in bed but then I do absolutely nothing about it the next day. I still don't think I'm depressed. I'd say that I constantly find it difficult to function due to emotional duress but to me that isn't depression. To me depression is an illness, an illogical thing that people who don't have external reasons to make them feel that way get because of how their brain is wired. There isn't a medical solution to my problems, I know exactly what I need and it's all completely unobtainable.

I'm sorry for posting all this on here constantly over the past few days, I probably look like a bit of an attention seeker. It just feels like the only thing I can do. It's the only release I get from all of this.

I can relate to that. I wasted years doing nothing to help myself but also didn't feel depressed. I think I just found it hard to motivate myself into leaving my comfort zone.

I haven't been on here in ages
I'm totally depressed, ew.
I plan on quitting my job this week even though I don't have a new job to go to. I just can't deal with where I am anymore. I've been there for over 7 years (Since I moved to England) and I'm going nowhere doing a poopy job.
But yea... woohoo.

I've thought about it in the past but quitting with no job to go to was too big a gamble for me.

Well my great aunt has been officially put on palliative care so basically we're now waiting for the end.

Long time coming sadly. My sister is very upset since they were very close. Me, I learnt to deal with death a long time ago so am not so affected.

Also my aunt is now likely to come down from Yorkshire which will make things even more unpleasant for everyone since almost everyone but me can actually get on with her.

oh i haven't posted in a while so ive got that cute message at the top of all the pages i visit.

i was really sad to hear of Medea's passing, i didn't post because i thought what's the point of just echoing the same sentiments of everyone else, i hope it wasn't disrespectful, i didnt mean that

things have been pretty crappy, i wont get into all the detals but i am doing pretty badly. i came really close to getting some psychiatric help but it didnt work out because the doctor i saw only works like 2 days a week. i gave up at that point, haven't bothered to find another doctor. i dont' have time anyway, between work and commuting i'm out 12 hrs a day. i dont' remember the last time i was actually happy, just sometimes where i feel okay. i wish i could come back to england, but i doubt that would fix the problem.

I very much doubt anyone's thought that and if they did then they're an idiot.

At least you're acknowledging that your drinking needs to be reigned in. I was in a similar position a few months ago. I'd use it to 'soften' the edges alone and outdoors. All it ever did was harden them and make me feel like crap.

Had my first counselling appointment today at 12. Woke up, looked at the clock and it was 11.58, I'd missed my alarm

Managed to get in for quarter past half asleep, but before we'd barely started, she said see you next week, the sessions are only half an hour (I had hoped they'd be an hour). Been given some info on SA and as you'd imagine the usual stuff, looked down the 'What you think' list (i.e. things like 'You think people are judging you' etc.) and could tick off every box

Slightly concerned at what we can achieve in a few half an hour weekly sessions, but happy to have got started nevertheless.

Aye. Brings back to mind when my landlord remodelled the bathroom earlier last year for a week. Never felt the place was mine (well it isn't, but you get the gist).

Shit.

There's hardly anything to look forward to.

I don't want to live a normal life and cannot live a normal life.

Just can't do it.

I cannot force myself to get up 8 hours a day 5 days a week, working in a dead end job talking to people who I have no interest in whatsoever.

I can't force myself to do that shit and I can't fake my way through the day's.

I can't escape into my mind anymore either to get relief from the boredom and limitations of a life on benefits.

The only way to escape is through alcohol.

I don't fit in here at all because I can't function at all Like a lot of people here seem to be able to do.

I'm sick of being on benefits but the only realistic alternative is sucking it up day in day out in a dead end job and living in a bedsit, so I basically choose the lesser of two shit evils.

The future scares the hell of me because I genuinely believe that one day I will top myself.

One day, I'm just going to snap.

Please, no one reply to this shit. It's ****ing pointless.

Well my great aunt's been sent home. Good for her since she'd prefer to die at home, stressful for us since we've had to run around like headless chickens trying to get the house ready.

Rather tired and only 1 day into my 6 days in work this week. Most of my evening will be spent washing, blow drying, and straightening my hair. Wish I had the time to play a game.

play this as you do all that other stuff

Picking up after people sucks, I had to see the guy I talk to today all I need to do is keep doing the stuff I'm doing. I could do with more art classes around my way. As for how I feel a little down but getting on with stuff
