Sadly the police aren't able to respond to theft these days so noise pollution/non violent anti social behaviour hasn't got a chance of a look in.

Sitting in front of a traditional open fire.
Watching the logs burn and hearing the crackles. So soothing

It does, god I love fireplaces.

I'm attempting to cook a risotto. I really hope it's edible as there's enough of it to keep me in stodge till the end of the decade.

me too,.

I love making a big pot of tomato and pepper soup, or leek and potato,

it makes such difference coming home and not having to cook as much,
although i'll usually add something on the night just to make it more interesting.

I have one of these huge indian curry type pots,.. it makes enough for a fortnight almost.

Yeah I hate ebay, I'm so happy they are going down hill (it's not all ebays fault in all fairness, the laughable EU consumer rules play a big part).

They did it to themselves by putting customers over businesses and having very relaxed rules encouraging fraud and time wastin. If you are going to allow people to defraud businesses and allow people to bid and not pay which so often happens, sellers are going to leave followed by buyers.

Much like in life, having very relaxed rules for people leads to poor behaviour, because people are bad.

Yes, you get a better quality of people on amazon, plus most of the time wasting on ebay relates to auction style listings. Amazon are however even worse than ebay for screwing the businesses that sell through them over. They encourage fraud far worse than ebay and their staff are of terrible quality, unable to count or make obvious decisions. The only good thing about Amazon is that stock shifts fast.
