^^ A five minute GP appointment will get you a lifetime supply of SSRIs. You'll forget you even had genitals.

Can you all stop discussing sexual frustration like its a normal thing

I'm sure it IS a normal thing but when I'm sat here forgetting what my bits are even for...and even worse is I'm not remotely bothered..it does make me question what the hell is wrong with me

I suppose its a good thing, I'm too busy being tired anyway

I wish someone had told me this and pointed me in the right direction when I was in my early twenties because I got none, NONE!

Tired and snotty.
Didn't go running, don't think sneezing all the way would be much fun. I've lots I could be doing at home but can't seem to find the motivation yet to get out of bed.

I hope you realise how patronising and insulting it is to belittle other people's problems because it doesn't compute in your tiny mind. Just because getting sex as a woman seems that easy from your perspective, doesn't mean it actually is.

TL;DR shut up.

So flat. I don't want to go to work tomorrow but I have to or I won't be paid and my sick pay has run out. I'm able to do my work but feel unable to make small talk with people, feel cut off and can't be bothered to talk. I hate all the fake incessant non stop talking and fake loud laughter with some people. Sorry for being so miserable.

Yes, attractive young women in full make up with sultry eyes will catch any man's attention, and they know it. I don't go on dating sites but can imagine some of these women's profile pics .
I think women like me though , who don't wear make up ,who are fat , wouldn't get a look in on those dating sites.

That woman who had 400 offers...what was her profile pic like? Did she look like a model ? Make up, boobs out , glass of booze in hand?

I have been feeling reasonably okay today, went for a nice walk this morning and had a fry up in the cafe for lunch but in the last hour or so my mood has plummeted like a stone.
Every time I see other people who just 'fit in' with society it makes me feel like shit that I can't be like that and how much of life I have missed out on because I can't function socially

My son has chickenpox and I'm terrified I'm coming down with them myself (I've never had them before). I feel like death. I can't afford to get ill like that right now.

^^ hope you and your son feel better soon A Whimsical Stranger

Struggling to see out of the anxious fog atm. Fed up and tired from constantly fighting with myself, panicking over basic tasks and tiny mistakes/uncertainties. Can't bring myself to do the things that I know help a little with the depersonalisation, because it's such a little help alongside so much anxiety that I can't find the motivation to keep going. I know I've made progress in the past but right now just feels so hopeless that I'll ever be able to stop being like this. Though who knows, maybe having a self-pitying whinge rather than going for a walk like I told myself I would will help!

Thanks Melangell and Consolida. I did get out in the end, not for a long walk, just to the postbox, but I guess it's something. I hope things get less crappy for you both too. Consolida, I know what you mean about not recognising people, I'm terrible for that. I know it doesn't mean a lot in the middle of anxiety, but if that happened to me I wouldn't think the other person was odd, I'd just think they were being thoughtful even if maybe worrying unnecessarily (but obviously I could relate to that!).

Really fed up of living here. Fed up of feeling like a 7 year old.
My mum should've aborted me, I know she wasn't ready to have kids back then but people pressured her.
Why do people have families anyway?
It's nothing but stress.
My brother is the most selfish arrogant 45 year old you'll ever meet.
Talking to himself and throwing insults.
I wish he'd go away

Just about fell asleep in the bath

It has felt like a long day. Volunteering at family centre all morning, got soaked getting there and again leaving there Had to drive 14 miles to town just to sign on, legged it across town on foot to use the library printers and then back to job centre, got soaked again, only to have to wait 30/40 mins to see my work coach. Then had to drive 15? ish miles on a route I don't know in bad weather for a 1:1 to with MIND recovery worker, was supposed to be an hour appointment, looked at the clock and 2 hours had gone! Had a panic about driving home in the dark but made it back before it got too bad. Add in my head cold and being due my period and the fact I forgot to stop and buy ANY chocolate and I feel pretty much ready for bed. Sad as that is.

^ Gosh, I wish I had just half of your stamina Mo! I think you should treat yourself to a large bar of chocolate the next time you are near a shop. You certainly deserve it and with all that rushing around you will easily burn off the calories

@ Vienna I can well imagine how stressful it must be living with Parents AND a difficult brother. I would have cracked long ago
I hope for the sake of your own sanity you (or your brother!) has the opportunity to move into your own place soon.

I’m feeling very run down. I’ve got ulcers in my mouth and some spots on my face which is always a sign that the stress of life is getting to me

Getting a bit stressed again, been making the phone calls to the therapy services given to me by the doctor yesterday, the NHS CBT service has an 18 week waiting list so that's not very helpful really and I'm not that keen on CBT to be honest.

^^ Feel better soon AL

^ 18 weeks does sound a long time, Silent Ninja, but I hope it will fly by for you. Have you tried CBT before? I have never tried it myself but I***8217;ve read good and not so good reviews about it. I guess like everything you won***8217;t know how helpful it will be for you until you try it

Am struggling mentally and physically. I***8217;ve started the daunting task of coming off my medication as it's doing me a hell of a lot more harm than good. I***8217;m expecting it to take months and that***8217;s discounting any relapses. My bad Insomnia has already gotten a whole lot worse. About two hours sleep in two days can't be healthy

There's another avenue for me on the therapy side, I've just got to wait until they phone me back so I might get an alternative to the CBT.

Sorry to hear you're struggling at them moment, hope you can get a bit more sleep soon
