Re: Does other people's talking annoy you?
Definitely! I have a person in my life who always gives their opinion even when I don't ask for or want it. Not only that they then keep going on about their opinion for 30+ minutes. Agreeing with them or trying to ignore them hasn't worked yet. Maybe I should try ....

Re: Does other people's talking annoy you?
Yes all the time, I often find myself in conversations at work where I'm thinking "why is this going on so long, anything of interest has passed in this conversation now".

Re: Does other people's talking annoy you?
I have an 'infinite loop' neighbour.
Her brain: 1. Ask question A 2. Receive answer to A 3. Forget answer to A 4. Ask question B 5. Receive answer to B 6. Forget answer to B 7. If received answers to both A and B, end conversation. 8. Goto 1 |

Re: Does other people's talking annoy you?
God yeah, it just makes me want to be anywhere but there. My eyes glaze over and i yearn for peace and quiet on my own.
I went to a concert last weekend and the people i was with kept talking non-stop over the songs. |

Re: Does other people's talking annoy you?
I sit in an open plan office, but there are glass partitions. Luckily my section isn't too bad but unfortunately the most disgusting obnoxious woman in the whole department sits in the section next door. I have to listen to music on my PC if I need to get any work done as hearing her incredibly grating cackling voice literally makes me want to pluck my eyes out. Her section is called the party zone because her and her cronies have two plus hour lunch conventions replete with cakes and doughnuts. She was really unpopular for a few months when the guy she was having an affair with at work was discovered to be a paedophile and she knew about it but carried on seeing him while lapping up sympathy. For some reason everyone seems to have forgiven her. Not me. I'd happily watch her burn alive. Well at least for a minute or two then I'd chuck some water at her.
