I'm not looking after your cats if we swap - we stay in our own homes IF we swap. I don't want to swap anyway on this occasion, but for future reference.. you now know.

That's for you to work out. It's a logistic/financial nightmare for the sake of adequate food.
Your cats will be perfectly safe in my company, after a few .. rebuffs |

Hairdressers, and how to some of the, 'the same sort of style with a little bit off the fringe' seems to mean the bare minimum amount of hair you could possibly call a fringe. I've basically got a 'frin-' currently. I feel like I have to apologise to everyone I speak to for how much of my forehead they're exposed to.

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
^ Sorry, I don't hark beyond 7pm.
I need a new hobby. I'll come round and give it a go if you want. I can ^^ That's so annoying. The last few I've had have done the same... 'This will make it hang better if the wind gets to it.' 'This will keep the sides looking tidy even when they don't look tidy.' 'This will stop it being weighed down on a Tuesday afternoon from 1.30-2.' I keep going to different ones, but only seem to get lucky every one of three. And when I do return to one that was good, the person who did it is never there. I feel a change.org petition brewing: 'There's a new petition on Change.org and we think you might be interested in signing it. Hairdressers, I get that you know your craft, but just do what I f*cking ask for'. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Some days I take my hat off to retail staff. They do have to put up with their share of idiots.
In Sainsbury's just now, waiting at the customer service desk to make an inquiry. The queue was held back by an elderly man who insisted on taking back his Lancashire Hot Pot ready meal because it had "too much potato". They tried to explain they couldn't take it back because of food hygiene laws. He then demanded to see the store manager, when told the store manager wasn't there accused him of hiding in the back, threatened to go to the media if he didn't get his refund, repeatedly harped on about how he'd driven all the way from the New Forest, then when he lost his fight walked over to the nearest sympathetic looking person (within full earshot of the staff) and proceeded to have a loud grumble. All the while not giving two hoots for the poor people waiting patiently behind. In their shoes I'd have been more than tempted to tell him to **** off back to the New Forest. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
How judgmental some people can get about other peoples interests.
For example, through my best mate, I know several people into LARPing. Not my cup of tea but if they like it and aren't hurting anyone then so far as I'm concerned good for them. Sadly LARPing groups suffer horrendous levels of abuse from general members of the public, in some cases are physically assaulted. |
