I feel like I have had enough now of everything. Just totally and utterly had enough.
I hate my life. Went to hairdressers, spent lots there, hair looks nice, get home, and now lying on the bed thinking I went and got my hair done, and I am all dressed up and nowhere to go. Why do I bother, buying nice clothes, wearing make up, having hair done, just to be on my own at home with agoraphobia.
I hate living in this small village with the chance of bumping into the madman who the police were supposedly going to arrest the other day, then not, then supposedly today and I guess they still wont.
I hate being surrounded by miserable villagers who dont accept me and are unfriendly with me because I am not an inbred like they seem to be, and have not lived in the village for the last 1000 years.
Why the hell did I end up here!!! I wanted rural and I got rural and hell !!! It is nice here, beautiful countryside, and have a lovely house and garden and I am grateful for all that but that cant make up for what I miss out on.
I cant have what I want because of how I am and I try to accept that but............
I once had an active life and friends and felt optimistic about everything - never would I have thought I would have ended up as I am.
All the hairdressers were young (well some anyway) and gorgeous, and chatty talking about their plans, and my hairdresser asked me what I had been up to since I last went to him. I told him -Nothing interesting I have a really dull life - and he laughed. The thing is he thought I was joking! If only he knew the truth!
I have to pretend to be normal when I go there.
This is not living. I am existing and I have had enough. I love my animals and wont leave them. and they are what keep me going as well as my son. My son lives far away so I rarely see him - we talk everyday on the phone though.
I am so unhappy.
I'm hopeless at giving advice, but didn't want to read and not reply.
I also don't think you should apologise for your post as I think your feelings are valid given what happened with the mad man. I would be scared too.

& the "so what have you been up to" question is one that I dread and always try to avoid situations where I might be asked it. It's painful and embarrassing. But I guess they're only trying to make conversation (except it's usually a conversation killer in my case )

I wonder whether it would be easier to accept the depressed state and let myself fall into a couple of days of randomly bursting into tears, self pity and self deprecation.

I literally would do anything to be able to turn my obsessive thoughts off.
Have you considered or tried meds like SSRI's?

The police went to the man's house and they had got the wrong person! however this person then gave them some info about another man who matches the description on his road. so the police are now going to see him, so I have to wait again lol
Hope you are ok.
Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. It really does sound as if they don't have a clue what they're doing (especially as they've got the wrong person!) I hope can they give you some positive news soon.

As for me, just the usual mixture of boredom, tiredness, agitation. Guess lack of any sort of a routine is making me feel apathetic, but it's hard to get back into the swing of things when you've been doing absolutely nothing for so long.

Urgh, it's not turning out to be the best day. The cat vomited on the floor, walked in it, then jumped on my throw on the sofa, with vomitty feet. Then I decided to try and clean the soot off the wall where I've had candles... didn't work, now the walls look very dirty, going to have to repaint it all. It's only 9.30am!

Ah...

Got shot point blank once. Had a massive bruise on my leg for weeks. Nasty things, paintballs.

On an unrelated note, why is it that I always feel guilty about not doing anything on a Sunday? I've got myself *too* motivated and now I can't let myself relax.

I'm actually thinking maybe I should go to the doctors but I hate my GP soo much. He is absolutely horrible whenever I go. He actually laughed out loud once when I was telling him I was depressed. In the end, he told me it was just "one of those things" and maybe I should take some vitamin tablets. I left crying and my mum, who had been waiting outside for me went in to talk to him, it was soo embarrassing. I guess it might be easier now I have already been on them once though, if I specifically ask if I can try again.

There is only two GPs, in the surgery I go to, husband and wife and both as bad as each other. Think I might have to get over it and go though, because I am sick of feeling sorry for myself and I can't even focus on uni work like this
Can't believe some GP's are like this, i hear stories from other people on here about how crap their GP's are. Luckily my GP was alright when i told hoim about my anxiety issues and put me on SSRI's. Maybe bring your mum in with you next time or someone you trust who can speak for you if you feel he's not taking you seriously. Can you register for a GP when you are uni?

Im tired and got a headache.

However assignment is in the letter ready to send so im feeling less burdened.

Im also curious as to why something fell out of my printer which makes no sense why it is even there... Its unclear if it is a foreign object.. idk.. Quite probable its part of the machine but it doesnt seem like it should. Its working either way.. Printing something and as the page came out.. This object came with it lol. Either way I dont understand how it was possible... Or why it decided to come out now... I already printed prior to it coming out too.

I been wanting buy a new printer for ages as it acts like there is a ghost in it and does whatever it wants half the time. This just reinforces my desire to buy a new one lol.. Parts coming out with my printed pages isnt a good sign.. Made me panic at first as it started going all wacky and I still had things to print.. but after turning off and on a few times it went back to working again without issues.
