Hope you feel better soon dude, i guess on the flipside it's good that you feel you need to 'wake up' and do something.
Take small steps i suggest with regard to doing things to get better, maybe see the doc about meds etc to ease the stress of anxiety off your mind as the stress/anxiety can make us so exhausted at times (esp. cos of the OCD we both have) that we have no energy left to do anything else.

You don't seem the type to say 'pronto'. I see you in a different light now.

Thanks! Yes trouble is I often have these I need to change moments but rarely do they materialize but never say never I guess. I'll try and see my doctor again. He said therapy was the answer last time rather then meds as he didn't feel I was the type that would benefit but I think I need to try at least. I was surprised he never suggested pills first actually. The main thing putting me off therapy again is getting to the clinic lol given I don't go out much it will be tough being able to go there consistently and not depending on my parents as I don't want to burden them with taking me.

I might ask about getting a mentor. I remember seeing someone mentioned it on here before. I think maybe if I could get some confidence with a mentor that won't be judging me it might help me at least get more independent and not be stuck in the house all the time. And given they won't be a friend as such I won't worry about embarrassing myself as much or being too dependent on them emotionally. But whether a GP can set that sort of thing up I don't know as I feel i'd benefit more from that, ie actually doing something to change rather then just talking about it.

The map would be shit and you know it, it wouldn't have a legend, scale etc and mis-direct me. As a physical geographer i'll be able to identify a volcano and the specific type i.e Composite, Shield and be able to identify if they are dormant or active so overall much less chance of me falling into one than the average person.

Really bummed out. A good friend of mine has just had some really bad news and she's the last person in the world to deserve it. Here's me, with a new job, so undeserving of it and someone who deserves all the best in the world is having a shit time. I'd happily take all her burdens and add them to mine, **** this world it makes no sense.

Detached.
Not good considering I have my driving test this morn. I feel like a zombie. I suppose at least I'm not conscious enough to feel nervous!

Tired. My boyfriend got up at 5.30 am to catch a train and I couldn't get back to sleep after he left. Maybe I'll have a nap after lunch.

I passed!

Actually thought I'd failed after about 2-minutes as he told me to turn left and I went straight ahead :S Plus my instructor was sat in the back seat with a face like a slapped arse the whole time, which didn't help... But somehow I didn't even get a minor fault for it?!

Soooo pleased it's done, and I never have to have another lesson for as long as I live

Got a headache, had an all nighter for the first time in years.

Also deactivated my facebook account for 1 week, no reason, just want to be stubborn with myself.

Knackered. I just want to go home and sleep. It's not like I've even done anything interesting to justify feeling so tired.

Congrats smog! :D providing you do everything in a safe manner then it is not a fault, if he had told you to turn left and then while going straight on quickly and dangerously turned left then it would of been a fail, even though you did the correct instruction, good job for just sticking with your gut!
