I forgot to bring a towel into the shower room so I used one of the bright white 'show' towels that are already in there. I hadn't realised I'd started my period, and now it looks like an England flag.

^ Shame you missed the World Cup, could have made a few quid there.

I was wondering, how could a man approximate the experience of having a period, to see what it's like for the lasses? I may or may not put the ideas into practice (I probably won't)

^^ The only thing I can suggest is to get someone to kick you in the groin repeatedly, preferably until you cry. As you go through the rest of the day feeling sensitive both physically and emotionally you will have an idea of what women feel like. (I don't actually think you should do that because you're nice and i wouldn't wish it on you! So just try and imagine.)

I don't get anxiety with mine. Just cramps. Sometimes the cramps are mild , and sometimes they're really bad.
Was at work once and they were SO BAD I had to go home. People commented how pale I looked.
In an office full of men I had to say it was just an upset stomach.

I have to admit that in the last few years I've really gone off chocolate and crave more savoury things. Also I used to have more pains (back pains in particular), whereas now I tend to feel really nauseous - to the point where I gag at the tiniest, most inoffensive things (I always felt that I had a fairly strong-ish stomach). I'd take the back pains and stomach cramps over nausea any day. It really is strange, but I guess it's just how I've changed in the mid to latter part of my twenties.

I'm currently on day 41 and my period still hasn't arrived, I'm thinking about contraception to try and make them more regular, I'm usually between 28 and 34 days.

Did my 1st 'homework' run. Felt harder going then on Sunday with the group.
Came back and realised I'd started least it explains the tiredness. And atleast it'll be mostly out of the way for this Sunday's run.
