I was divorced a few months ago, my SA played a large part in the break up. I know however that I do not want to spend the rest of my life alone and as my options are quite restricted have been looking into online dating. The people on these sites seem to be so outgoing with a long list of requirements they want met which I don't really meet due to my SA. Reading some of their profiles make me feel so inadequate and I feel if I meet up with any of them they are going to find me very odd, not having many friends or achievements etc.

Anyone know of a dating site for those with our problem? If not then maybe someone should start one.

I don't think there is any such UK SA-focused dating site that actually works.

There is the dreadful 'Social Anxiety Match', but its got few UK users, and lots of spammers.

There are some 'shy' and 'mental health' focussed dating sites, but I haven't looked into them.

perhaps this is one for the Adiminstrators?
why not add an extra topic list onto the site.

This has been discussed many, many times. We do not wish to be involved with dating on SAUK for many reasons - not least the fact that trying to police a contact section would be very difficult and would only add to the already time-consuming and often difficult task of moderating the site. We could also see many other potential problems arising from having a contact section and we feel that it would be quite unsuitable for SAUK.
