About to be made Homeless - Advice needed

Hi everyone, I hope all is well.

I need some advice, currently living with my mother, I have been asked to leave her house and I don't have anywhere to go.

If anyone knows any organisations which offer help with homeless people with social anxiety please let me now.

If you are seeing any health care professionals etc I would strongly recommend asking then to provide you with a letter to back up that you are at risk etc. Otherwise they won't be in a rush to help IMO.

To make a long story short, had a big long row, being around makes my SA get worse. So I decided to not talk or be around her for a month. So she's now told me to get out of her house.

I saw a psychologist for treatment a couple of years ago, does that count? or my GP?

I'm not sure tbh. Probably they would want to see any current evidence. It's a shitty system ( housing etc) and depending on whether you male or female etc. Have kids blah blah. Your chances are affected greatly, again just my opinion.

Maybe citizens advice would be a good start to see what your options are in your current circumstance.

At the bottom right you will find "NEED SUPPORT" this gives to details for MIND & RETHINK they might know of hostles or something in your area where you could stay until you get on your feet with the council.

Hiya, sorry to hear this. Shes your mum and she loves you, even if she doesnt like you right now. Can you try to explain to her why you behaved the way you did, because you thought it was the best thing at the time. Tell her you love her and maybe as a compromise you can stay until you sort something out if you still need somewhere else to live.

OK I am going to go with two extremes here:

You need to forgive your mum and she needs to forgive you regardless of what happened, this needs to be your priority. Maybe you will then be able to stay.

or

You should take this as an opportunity to begin to sort yourself out, a catalyst. There are definitely people out there who want to help you, there are lots of good people on this planet. You need to be willing to accept the help when it is offered. You can pay them back in time, when your feeling better, whether its next week or next year. Find a place to stay, even if its a church or charity, I don't know. I am very fortunate and grateful to have not been in this situation.

Either way, you need to forgive your mum and she will forgive you eventually.
