Default Anyone in their 50s?

Hi everyone. Just wondered if I am the oldest on here at 51. I have had SA all my life but things have improved with age. However, due to present circumstances and not working, my SA is resurfacing and affecting my life quite a bit.

I don't think you're the oldest aubergine - I'm 49 - 50 in December so you're just a little older than me but I do know of members in their 50s.

I'm older than Winnie by 6 months - but I have no answers.
No answers to anything. Not a thing. Zilch. Absolutely nowt.

But I'm always willing to help, and by helping learn.

Hello, Aubergine. I'm 46 which is sort of close. Actually I feel rather ancient if truth be told, but that's just me of course.

I beat you all. I'm 53, even though I don't look it.
I do feel that things are improving for me in some ways.

Everything counts! Whether you count it or not, it counts!
Everyone should count! Use your fingers and toes! (We, elderly people, grew up without electronic calculators - so we are used to counting on our fingers.) Some things count more than others, but absolutely everything counts. The big problem is what it all adds up to!
Everyone should be able to have input on everything!
But some people ,mainly young un-knowing people, feel they have more rights than others.
But those more experienced in lifes odd ways give-and-take more.
We certainly give and take with relish!
Go for it, Big john.
(were you in Robin Hood?)

Over 30s Club! Bah! 2 more years and I'll be on my second lap!

58 and breaking up. Last week I went to the dentist's to have the remains of my teeth cemented up. Tomorrow I'm due at the doc's to look at my lumps.

Now the bad news - tonight I was just eating my tea, and suddenly I found something hard in my muffin. A huge lump of tooth! Whole top just snapped off!

My previous dentist chappie left last month. Last week - new guy - from Poland. I could not understand a word he was saying. That was when I had my doubts. First thing tomorrow I'll have to start swearing at them down the phone.

No one warned me that getting old was like this - bits dropping off. They just told me about the free bus pass!

Johnie.

Hi Winnie.

Yeah, this morning I had to postpone the doc and go see the dentist again. After much of a wait I saw the Polish gentleman who poked about and gave me an X-Ray. He had me back after it developed and gave me the bad news. "We in Poland, we call this Necrosis of the Jaw. From previous bad fillings. Two teeth must come out."

Then the real bad news. For two teeth and a partial denture thingy, extra £150.40 (On top of last weeks £43). WANT IT NOW. My Visa card took a whacking.

Now I've got a long list of future appointments stretching through till mid October. Something to do, eh?

Early doors yet; Still got the doctor to do on Thursday. What'll he find?

Johnie.
