Default Best and Worst Films of 2023

According to IMDB I have watched 95 films this year.

Still to watch Rebel Moon so if its good or bad enough I'll add it to the list

BEST

Barbie
In the Land of Saints and Sinners
The Holdovers
The Killer
No Hard Feelings
Cobweb
Dark Harvest
BlackBerry
Beau is Afraid
Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3
Sharper
A Man Called Otto
Knock at the Cabin
The Locksmith

WORST

Dream Scenario - That sucks because I was looking forward to seeing it
Babylon
Plane
Kandahar
Women Talking
Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Money Shot: The Pornhub Story - Apart from 1 unattractive web cam chick how can you have a documentary about porn and have no nudity.
Little Dixie
Assassin
Kill Her Goats
Inside
Nocebo
The Pope's Exorcist
Cocaine Bear
Confidential Informant
Something in the Woods
The Good Mother
The Kill Room
It Lives Inside
Slotherhouse
Resident Evil: Death Island - Keep making these RE CGI films and they are always terrible.
The Engineer
Night of the Hunted
The Great Escaper
Scream 6 - Boring and predictable.

No 1 Best film: Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse

No 1 Worst Film: Few to choose from but remember Confidential Informant being the most boring

Of the six () that I saw:

Best:
Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse
Kill Boksoon
Quiz Lady

Worst:
Barbie
A Good Person

I also watched The Little Mermaid, but didn't think it was good or bad.

I've only seen 2 modern films this year. Where normally I'm stuck in the 90s.

Best:

The Elvis film was good. A lot of hip thrusting was going on! At least I think it was Elvis that I was watching. Great soundtrack! So all in all, I'd give this film a mildly solid 8/10.

Worst:

The other film I saw was Indiana Jones. Started off great! Where they digitised Harrison for about 15 minutes and they made it seem like you were watching the old Indiana again. Then after the 15 minutes was up, you actually got to watch the old Indiana. So all in all, I'd give this film a runny solid 4/10.

Alright

Smile
Evil Dead Rise
Scrapper

Total rubbish

Beau is Afraid
Scream VI

Films have been very underwhelming of late. I don't know if it's just because I'm sick and tired. They don't make good horror like they used to.

@Merry - aw it's good to find films to share. I wonder when the final part of the trilogy is released. It was originally March 2024, but the writers' strike pushed it back and Sony haven't look updated the release date. Definitely going to watch it at the cinema, even if I have to go alone!

Wow - I didn't even realise that there were more than two Scream films!

These two could be in the worst of '20s so far:

Avatar the Way of the Whatever
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Who Gives a Shit
