Talking to an elderly couple today and brexit was mentioned, she was under the impression that we were 'finally getting our country back', then said something about the EU taking away the royal family!

Some of the pro Brexit comments have been amusing at times. I earwiged a conversation in a local cafe where someone was talking about how its great we're leaving the EU because now we can play the national anthem in cinemas, like they used to back in the "old days".

This made me wonder when cinemas stopped playing the anthem. Quentin Letts (yikes) of the Daily Mail (double yikes) says it died out in the 60s.
