Remember this ol' boy of a thread?

A thread for you to share three good things that are going on in your life.

It could be three good things about your day or three good things that have happened recently.

Looking forward to seeing your responses

Catching up with a friend the other week.

Staying on my healthy eating/exercise plan. Give or take a few unhealthy/sloth days.

Had to call my bank on Friday and it went better than I thought it would.

- The only thing stopping me from finally travelling to see my family again in a few weeks is a positive pre-flight covid test (which hopefully won't happen, but I won't be celebrating until I'm sat on the plane).
- Going to see Rina Sawayama live soon almost two years after first buying tickets.
- Had a great swim this morning.

- The way my family and friends have rallied around since me and my partner got COVID
- That I managed a full day's work (from home) today despite the symptoms
- That online ordering is a thing so things like Indian food deliveries exist! :D

Bonus:

- Losing visceral fat recently

Thanks, Percy Even if it is cancelled due to a positive test I know it would only then be postponed for a month or two, so trying to keep that in mind rather than thinking negatively.

* I made dinner for my family this evening and it turned out alright. Cooking for other people used to stress me out and it didn't this time.

* Went for a lovely walk through the fields even though I felt really bloated and lethargic before going. It perked me up.

* had a slice of Black Forest gateau. Mmmm.

Three things I'm looking forward to on my next trip:

- Celebrating Tubbs' birthday with Tubbs, her partner, Percy and anyone else who may be joining us on Friday (I'm also meeting another SAUK member whilst in Southampton)

- Catching up with my friend anewyear (and anyone else who wants to join us) in London next week, plus attending the World Travel Market.

- Two music festivals in Great Yarmouth and a mini-holiday in East Anglia in between.

^ Yes!

-Did my Laundry
-Cleaned up
-Called/Texted my Dad

Doesn't seem like much, but anxiety has literally been preventing me from doing most of this. I think my medication is helping.

* Plucked my eyebrows (I'd lost my tweezers and things were getting a little wild up there - hedgehogs trying to hibernate in them, autumnwatch location scouts asking if they could film an episode in them etc.)

* spending time with my sister and getting some things that needed to be done, done

* Going out for dinner

.... For going out for dinner. My eyebrows are impeccable and the things me and your sister haven't done can be written on the back of matchbox.

hahaha you wish, spuddley. you wish!

The table is booked for 7:45pm. That means we won't eat until about 8:30pm? I might as well just roll myself in, in my bed...because it's practically bed time!

I've been full of lots of negativity recently, which I'm finding difficult, so I thought I should post about 3 positive things recently

1. I went for a short walk along the coast recently, and an old man came up and struck up a conversation with me. It was really lovely, as I haven't had a conversation with a stranger (or anyone I don't know well) for a very long time sadly. He was also telling me how happy he is to see some of the changes and new developments in the town we were in - which goes against the perhaps unfair stereotype of older people!
2. Had a lovely short conversation with the friendly owners of a coffee shop in my town. A minor thing, but it gave me a boost.
3. I saw two ladies giving a small group of refugees a tour of my town. It was great to see this, and for the refugees to have something positive to do, and for them to see the positive sides to our culture, and also our hospitality. I also managed to have a bit of brief small talk with them.
