^ yes! Three or four of them. Then I felt this wave of guilt for watching them.

Thank you for saving a beautiful fox. What happened to the lil dude?

Guilt? It's a public space. They love an audience anyway, little critters. What sort of activities were they up to?

The fox. I was out walking. It was dark. I was on the main road approaching a busy ish junction when i spied a fox on the other side waiting for an attempt at crossing. I saw a number of cars coming, so i clapped and it scampered away back into someone's front garden. I didn't want to not do something and feel guilty if anything had happened to it. Luckily it reacted the way i intended, but of course it could just as easily have decided to cross at that point and i'd have felt worse, lol. Of course then there's the thought that it may have known how to cross a road safely and was just waiting for the right moment....

- Got in touch with Taxaid for help with filing a late return. The penalty is ridiculous now and i've not opened the most recent letters from HMRC. I'm hoping i can perhaps get it reduced some way on MH grounds - i'm so bad with these things and so good at ignoring it. It'll be the last of the tax returns because i'm not self-employed any more... that is if they allow early returns (i'll do 20/21 and 21/22 both at the same time if possible).

- I think i've broken through a bit of a wall with some of the guys at work who've been making things difficult for me. I shared a really long journey (5hrs) with one, just the two of us, and got to know each other a bit more. And one of the others i went out onsite with yesterday, again a bit of journeying and then working together. It's been stressful but definitely worthwhile. Hopefully it puts an end to the nastiness/attitude toward me, although there's quite an embedded 'us and them' stance in general with them.

- My hair looks decent today.
