It was just a cardboard fold out one. Satisfying though.

I think I may make that pic my avatar, so SAUK members can enjoy being reminded of this marvel of British engineering.

(I mean the Spitfire, not my cardboard model).

Making some chicken soup with stock i've just made. I filled a jar with stock and then, after taking the bigger bones out, put everything else in the soup maker, added some spuds, carrots, garlic - onions and celery were already in the stock. Hopefully it'll blend up smoothly.

I just bought a massive pot mostly for making soup. It's the most I've ever spent for a kitchen thing! But I love cooking, and soup is just the greatest. If I'm able to get freebies from work like I did before, then I'm going to be making lots of it.

I hope your soup turned out yumm by the wayy. It sounds great
