Yes most of my things (books, furniture) are from charity shops.

Not that I can remember... I did once find bits of chocolate (I think) and leaves in a copy of Wuthering Heights I picked up from Oxfam. Someone was clearly having fun out on the moors. Gonna be on the lookout now for notes though!
