I joined a gym about 6 weeks ago for the first time. It's the gym group one and only £12.99 a month where I live. I decided to join as it would give me a place to go to regularly and be around people and also they did free classes which I go to each week. No I'm not, and never intend to. I just do it at home, which mainly consists of isometrics.

I joined the local 24 hour gym 2 months ago. Although its not the cheapest (its 35 per month at anytime fitness) I thought that would give me motivation to go more often and it definitely has so far. Ive been going 3 times a week at the more off peak hours. Sometimes theres hardly anyone other than me in there it's great

I dont keep track of calories lost or anything like that. I genuinely go because it makes me feel better and I think that alone is worth it for me.
