Default Do you have a hobby/interest

Sometimes I feel that I should be more interesting.

I was wondering if you have a hobby or something you are really interested in.

I don't really

its becoming apparent as all I seem to do is work and sleep, I suspect i'd hate my job/life less if I had something I enjoyed in the gaps.

I don't really count watching stuff or gaming a hobby, I dunno maybe gaming was a hobby when I did it an embarrassing amount of hours but I either don't get hooked like I used to or I don't have the time..I like to get a few hours in here and there and I'll sacrifice precious bed time if I'm really hooked on something (very very rare in the sea of shit that exists now!)

I don't know what i'd like to actually do..I suspect I'm a bit of a bore on reflection!

I have been a radio amateur for nearly 20 years now, talk to people all around the world, without having to leave my radio shack (spare bedroom). I wish I had done it earlier on, back in the 80's, but didn't have enough self confidence to take the 2 hour exam and learn Morse code at the time. It has given me the opportunity to talk to a lot of different people, and I have even been a member of a radio club for 17 years, attend club meetings weekly when I can.

So I think that is an achievement. I find it a lot easier talking to people on the radio than talking to them face to face.

I'm a keen climber, also into hiking and camping. I go swimming a lot but that's not so great for talking to people about.

I am a radio ham also

I have been running a WSPR beacon on 30m during the christmas holidays, doesn't involve much talking but it has helped me improve my antenna matching arrangement to my end fed wire in the garden. Homebrewed a 9:1 unun and now I'm happier with the outcome.

Other than ham radio, I like cycling, I used to ride with a cycling club, I want to get back into Audax although circumstances are prohibitive, swimming is good, I also like camping, birdwatching, listening to music, most of these activities are on a long hiatus currently but I cling onto them, one day, one day...

^ Only the really interesting and cool people like hiking and photography .

I love to go mountain biking (I've got a trail bike and a downhill bike), hiking, photography, gaming (PS4 and xbone), exercising and I started running again a few of weeks ago. I also enjoy a game of airsoft and a round of golf every now and again.

Gaming, especially trophy hunting but only if I enjoy the game as it can make me quite obsessive. Love cooking/baking and trying new recipes.

I used to love films and was quite the film buff but I feel now that TV now is better than films. Reading comics, I try to read one every night before bed.
