Wow that looks amazing, just one question though, if that is your downhill bike what do you use to get up the hill?

Dean that looks great, wish I could be so organised.

Went to the park.

Did 3,334 steps visiting every single bit of the park including the dog area, kiddie area (even though I had my paedo cardigan on), weed benches, the hardcore drug area and the polski high strength lager benches.

Saw a a squirrel

Grabbed his nuts

Home to bed

Today...? The same as always - working. I'm only online now (during works time ) because I've got a free 20 minutes or so...! I'm literally sitting here, at my desk, tapping my fingers, clock-watching.

Today has been a heck of a drag and I've still got an hour and a half to go until I finish... Why has it been a drag? Well, today I finish until next Thursday (28th) as I desperately need time off. I'm also heading off to Devon for a long weekend. I just need to get away from it all for a few days...

I'm sure most of you can relate to this, but the final week or two before you're due to go away somewhere is the 'Great Holiday Countdown Slowdown'! Every day seems to double in length.

Tomorrow I'll be getting my hair cut, packing my bags and giving the car a wash ready for the drive down there on Friday...

well I just had to scuttle up a hill. Turns out eating an exclusively fat meal at lunch has a devastating effect on the digestive system.

I spent today in an old people's home. Did you know 48 residents, only 8 are male..
I could do not be a carer, much respect to the people that do. So much patience.

^ I put a sock on an old guy the other day - by request - and i couldn't wait to get home and wash my hands.

What were you doing in an elderly home?

Lol, this is what I was thinking. Two looked like they had some sort of flesh eating disease. What was funny, this old guy wanders around and my gran tells me no one knows who he is.

Yeah i was just visiting my gran. See if I could spot a nice carer there, but no they were all in their late 40s..

Jeez, getting old sucks, i hope it doesn't happen to me. That old guy probably doesn't know who he is either .... away with the fairies, like a toddler ... O____o .. might be alright actually

How's your gran doing? Does she like the place? Do you visit often?

yeah she's okay, she tolerates the place I think- she has a nice bedroom but it's slightly lazy entertainment - shove 10 elderly people in front of a TV.
I've visited about once a month.

Oh sugar coated, honey glazed, out of date arse cakes !!

I failed my MOT, I guess its driveway car maintenance for the next couple of weeks for me, great, I feel so comfortable here at the moment

There is nothing I cant handle but its all quite heavy going and there is a fair bit of it. The joys of owning "classic" cars.

Can I be in your secret den club? I used to be good at building hideouts! So much so that a tramp once started living in one we'd built! Kinda lost its appeal after that though.

Drove to some genuinely beautiful places and felt really quite sad and angry in all of them. I kind of gave up on the day quite early but things picked up this afternoon so overall I would class it as a good day.

Went to outdoor group. Helped build a raised bed out of big oak planks with a couple of ppl from the National Trust. Did some weeding/clearing etc..
Then hung around chatting to folk for a little while in the afternoon. Feel quite mellow.

Think were going to the Cass Sculpture foundation next week. Looks/sounds interesting - 50 or so large scale sculptures set in 26 acres of ancient woodland.
Were also getting in for free! which is always a bonus

Wow, you’ve been busy Mo - well done!

Do you think the ecitalopram has played any part in helping you to feel a little more mellow in social situations? I’m still waiting for mine to kick in, if it ever does! I think the fact that you have been exposing yourself (oo er! )on a regular basis has far more to do with your achievements than the meds. You should feel very proud of yourself
The outside volunteering sounds great and I’d love to go to that woodland sculpture place, it sounds awesome. Btw, hope you take some piccies while you’re there Mo

It sounds like your evening went really well Rebka and was all the more enjoyable because of the enjoyable meal and the even tastier waiter

Erm it's hard to tell but they certainly make me a bit brighter mood wise and feel more easy with talking to folk. I suspect your right though that going out and volunteering etc is probably as big a factor.
Hopefully you'll feel something positive from the escitalopram, tho it does seem to take a while to not feel knocked out by them I still do sometimes.
The sculpture place does look great , I'm just hoping it's not chucking it down next Tuesday! As for piccies, will do
