My SA cripples me constantly and wins again, I can't function as a decent human being.

i'm 37 in april and i have nothing to show for them years being alive.

I've just had the best, best, best times in my life and i KNOW that that will never be repeated because sometimes beauty only comes around once in a lifetime.

Horrible

I met her today and she has said online afterwards that we didnt really click. Im gutted and feel so sad right now. I've completely let myself down and i feel so so sad

The meet only lasted an hour.

Im devastated tbh..and it hasent full hit home yet. Feel like crying really. She was so great...why does my issues hold me back in life all of the time?

Im broken hearted

I know its hard but try not to take it too personally. Online dating is a numbers game, i met 6 people this year one has become a buddy and seeing someone else, one i dated for three months and the other four well we just didn't click. Give yourself a bit of time and try again. BTW big thumbs up for going on the date...it's a huge step in the right direction

I'm not really sure what to say.

I think it's probably best not to log into plentyoffish for atleast a few days as it will only remind you of her. and when you do finally go back i would also delete all of your messages in your sent box and inbox and staring at her face all the time will remind you of her as well.

don't feel bad about not clicking with her, it happens to everyone. at the time of writing this the show "take me out" on itv1 is on right now and they just reported on a date and the two people just didn't seem to click and are not seeing each other again either, and last week a few of them didn't click either. so it does happen to everyone.

keep your chin up man, you're a good looking lad and there's plentyofother girls out there who will be interested

oh yeah me ... I feel like $hit. I did that from '1-10 how nervous are you' and the 'loneliness' thread and realised I am far more alone than I thought I was and a lot of it is my own doing because I can't handle being around too many people or feeling to committee to people. Like I Love Rain I'm going to be 37 in the spring and I want to be in a different place when I am 40.

it isn't abnormal for even normal people to be nervous in certain situations. I mean imo on that test maybe a lot are sort of just normal rather than maybe what could be technically defined as sa.
