Sorry to flipflop but can I go back to my old name of AuroraSky please? The few old-timers left don't know who I am any more.

Hi Affogato, your username was last changed on the 4th August '23. Changes are only allowed every six months, therefore February 4th is the date you can revert to AuroraSky.

mysupportforums is the most unsupportivest place on the internets and they love mentally destroying members so nobody ever join them cause they will destroy your mental health like they did me

having a meltdown cause i know they take pleasure in the suffering of members and i can't stop thinking of how they dealt with me when I had literally a momentary trauma meltdown in pm cause there was one trigger too many and they don't give a rats ass about the mental health of members

Is "banned at own request" on the profile title things a euphanism (idk how to spell it) for "they got banned for going wrong and we're just saying they asked to get banned so members can't say anything to us" ?

just checking through them again now, not sure about this bit:

2.3 Posts should be as inclusive as possible and not appear to exclude members of the board.

not sure how something can exclude a member, unless its saying literally "XYZ member cannot post here"

just going through the other things in the list, make sure i know what each of them are and what they mean

"Depending on the severity of infractions, members will normally be given a warning first, followed by either a temporary or permanent ban. In general, bans will escalate as follows: 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, 1 month, permanent. This will include any multiple accounts the user may have. Attempts to circumvent a ban will lead to the ban being extended."

if a ban is made permenent, how can it get extended? confused now

I'm assuming circunvent (spelling) means get round it somehow

i can't spell cause of dyslexia, forum staff tend to get mad at me for daring to not spell something right, I remember on the other forum the main admin got really mad at me just cause i could not spell a moderator's name cause it was a long string of letters that didn't even make a word, idk what the name was cause that was years ago, but it read like nvgreshgbvhrerkjnvhrkjnvkjfnlkjnvhrjkjenlafkekvskr hegtrgsvk and i don't remember the name and i could not spell it anyways and he got mad at me

Also, in the event that I was to make friends here and friend was to get banned, is it allowed to post to say "anyone heard from XYZ" if the hypothetical ban is not mentioned?

I'm scared I'll at some point get dragged into PM and screamed at by the staff and told I'm a bad person and to f-word off and get lost and that I'm not wanted and should kill myself cause emotional unstable personality disorder is not a allowed disorder

I know one thing: if a behaviour I'm doing needs to be changed at any point, I cope best if I'm told calmly and nicely whats needed, I can't handle it when the mods come down on me like a tonne of concrete, the mods and admin on mysupportforums didn't care they dealt with me in the wrong way

Post 1: Circumventing a ban would be creating another account to post on the forum. Once upon a time you'd could post as a guest as well.

Post 2: Yes, you can mentioned banned people and ask if anyone knows how they're doing etc. but you can't discuss why they've been banned.

Post 3: Well, if they sent that it would be breaking the law so highly unlikely!

You'll have to ask them that because we don't know what happens on that side of things. You could always PM them if you want a post pre-approved or something whilst you're getting used to the place? Might help with your initial worries?

You know if you think - can I post about that? You can PM to ask. For example, I've PMed to ask if it's okay to post a ladies only meet etc. just in case it wasn't allowed.

Moderators and admins here would never send a PM like that to any forum member.

This is a friendly forum, ebonytigger. As for the rules, I've been a member on this forum for over 6 years and I've never got around to reading them. Although I'm a rebel. But I wouldn't let this bother you. I think you're doing great and I would go on being your fantastic self!
