Default Does this happen to anyone else?

when I get really anxious my teeth start to chatter just as though I am really cold my hands shake a lot If I am in a crowded area with lots of peope the noise seems magnified. I also suffer pains in my neck and shoulders and feeling very low in energy after facing an anxiety arousing situation. does anyone else get these type of symptoms?

Me too. It's weird but when in big crowds it's like I suddenly become aware of everything that's going on around me (spidey senses... tingling!) and sounds do seem louder.

I can't say I get those symptoms, but when I'm in busy areas my mind races and I become disorientated and detached from people and my surroundings.

I think we all get these kind of symptoms i definately feel sick a lot when i'm anxious. I don't get chattering teeth though but i do get disorientated its like everything seems surreal sometimes. I get very alert aswell like i'm in survival mode.

Yeah I occaisionally get the shakes in my jaw muscles.

last time it happened I was at work so I went into the toilets to look in the mirror. I could see my mouth quivering but it wasn't all that noticable luckily.

Its really annoying though.

u tried beta blockers? Might help...

I wouldn't advise taking beta blockers, can cause depression. SA and depression not a good mix.

Where did u hear that? I thought they only affected the physical symptoms of anxiety(increased heartrate, shaking etc)

I've not heard of them causing depression before.

In a group situation as regular as clockwork I'll get a headache after a couple of hours.

I'll feel tired too

As Bak2Rehab says I also sometimes feel "disorientated and detached from people and my surroundings".
