I wouldn't describe myself as an avid sneezer, but I used to do explosive ones regularly when I was a child. I'll have to make a sneeze diary to see haha.

My counsellor - she cancelled an appointment a while back saying she was ill. Very unusual. Then I got a msg last wkend from her saying that she had been admitted to hospital and was having an op that day. haven't heard anything since - which obviously I don't expect to, until she's well. But can't help think about my last counsellor who i'd known for years and years who went off sick suddenly and a couple of months later died from lung cancer. My brain thinks far too much.

Thinking my posh neighbours must think I'm a poor peasant they've all got shiny new cars while yesterdays there's me laying on the ground by our car with a drill and wire brush attachment cleaning rust and paint off then priming the cars sill with anti rust primer.

The news - it's just a monotonous stream of doom and gloom.
People going missing, being stabbed, natural disasters, diseases, corrupt politicians....

Why can't there be some good news for a change?

^ yes, it seems to be human nature to be fascinated and attracted to the morbid. This is interesting around mental health and news consumption: https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/b...cal-health?amp

I was on the moors early, and this dog came out of nowhere, started bouncing at me. It had it's lead on. I thought oh no someone's lost. Anyway turned out to belong to the guy 500 meters away in the car park. Cute dog, springing like tigger from Winnie the pooh. Didn't want to go back to it's owner either.

Watching the progression into WWIII and probable annihilation of every living thing on earth can be a tad depressing. Some days I even look forward to it.

This has always been my understanding, ..... that "The News" is only ever going to be The Bad News,.. otherwise, it wouldnt feature in the news,

A cynical person might even suspect that the powers that be have some sort of vested interest in keeping the masses afraid,
Fear cows people and disables people,
An afraid, cowed populace is very easy to enforce and rule over.

Most normal right-thinking people can see the obvious stupidity and idiocy of wars and so on,
So, it really makes you wonder why the highest people in the land see it as something worthwhile?

I hope you are able to take some piccies of mum and her babies to share with us here

I'm thinking about how nice it would be to drift off to sleep and just never wake up. I know it's an awful selfish way for me to think but the thought of not feeling like this anymore is proving to be strangely comforting right now.

No, no help or support although my antidepressants were increased a while back. People say you only get out of life what you put in so maybe I do deserve to feel this way

I'm imagining a seedy looking guy in a raincoat furtively hovering outside a seedy little shop,

He eventually plucks up the courage to go inside and shuffles up to the counter,

"Erm,.. could I have something from...under the counter please "
He whispers.

The shopkeeper furtively glances from side to side scanning the premises to make sure the coast is clear,..
" yes sir,... erm,...... how many tomatoes do you want?"

I need to pick up my sister from the train station at 9:40 tonight and it’s making feel like that’s all I’m waiting for and I feel the need to be continually busy because otherwise I’m just constantly thinking to remember to pick her up.

I still don't understand how the human race didn't go extinct by simply people willingly refuse to reproduce since wee are supposed to be smarter animals at least.
Or perhaps it's me who is too depressed to see the beauty of life.

I fail to understand how people see life beautiful enough to bring another human/another version of himself into it.

I wouldn't have kids. I think it's far too turbulent a world. But I can see why people do. If you can maintain stability via a likeable job, and you don't have too big an issues, then it's quite nice. Lovely sunny days, variable seasons, great places to go, good stuff to eat. And sometimes people are lucky enough to find the partner of their dreams that they want to bring a kid up together with.

^ same here, I wouldn't bring life into this messed-up world.

(not that it matters as no woman would ever want to conceive with me, but anyway)

Sometimes I think like, we already exist and we can't change that fact, but thankfully these things you mentioned definitely help make living the rest of our life doable, but not enough to guarantee my kid will enjoy existing.
As long as there a possibility he will suffer, I should not take the risk.

Why don't people just try to use these beautiful things in life you've just mentioned to enjoy the rest of their life without leaving part of them here to continue living in this world after they die.. One could even have the most beautiful love story without passing their genes on.
How does it matter if I died without having kids or not.

I don't see this world as a good place at all.

Sorry about my bad English.

In thinking how someone you only know online can make you feel suicidal.
Common sense tells me to ignore it but it's not that easy.
After a few years of not even thinking about SH the urge is so strong.

Sometimes people don't want kids because they enjoy their life as it is and want the time to do as much stuff as possible that they find valuable. That makes sense to me. Although if I enjoyed my life I would have been more likely to want kids.

I think we all know how toxic certain people can be sadly. Its strange how someone you've known for years can turn on you and make unfounded accusations. Don't let the bastards grind you down as they say. Troublemakers will always be around, but they'll be found out sooner or later.
