Default Today I have to call the fraud department

As many of you know, the only real issue I have left with SA is my terror of phonecalls.

Last week my debit card stopped working online and they sent me a lovely letter claiming I had "unusual activity' apparently"unusual activity" is trying to buy an audiobook online and a KFC in London.

Ugh lol

Default Re: Today I have to call the fraud department

^ Good luck with the call. I used to get this quite a bit, until I had a stern word with the fraud department of my bank and told them that I didn't want to risk being stuck somewhere with no money and no means of calling them. Since then (about five or six years ago), they've come to realise that all my activity is unusual.

The calls are usually quick and you just have to confirm that you made the relevant purchase - I know it's still daunting to call them (I have a similar issue with calls), but it doesn't last long and they're pretty friendly (in my experience).
