the act of suicide comes when someone feels 'dead' inside and can no longer cope being this way, the horrific end sort of makes them feel something again for the last time even if it is extreme pain. Its sad that some people are driven by this cruel life to that point.

My reply is no, life is one big test, one big games where as much shit as possible is thrown at me to deal with, to annoy me and irritate me. the people with their 'normal' lives serve the purpose to piss me off and push me to keep going to one day be better, its a bit strange but i have always seen things like this.

Absolutely. I have been suicidal for years and the only thing keeping me alive is cowardice. It would be fantastic if the body could simply cooperate with the wishes of the mind and obligingly shuffle off the mortal coil, without courageous action having to be taken!

There was a point in my life where I slept maybe 15-20 hours a day when I was unemployed. Time flew by, days turned into weeks, weeks into months.

Yes I feel like this, I also am not suicidal, I'm here now so have to make the most of it but if I could go to sleep and it was like I never existed I would.

There must have been many hundreds of times I've gone to bed at night hoping I'd never awake again.

Having said that, these days I'm glad for every new day I wake up, because I have no desire to stop living just now. It seems the more of life I live, the more I actually want.

have only felt like that once fortunately. i had an art GCSE project deadline coming up and i couldn't finish. i was so worried and one day just decided i'd die and that'd sort out the problem. i became fearless of the dark.. actually i lay with my eyes open in the dark (could never do it before) waiting for the monsters to claim me. the feeling was great, i wasn't afraid or worried about anything anymore

I think I have a lot of fight still inside me, but ask me on the wrong day and I could easily say yes.

If stuff hasn't changed in say 3 years time, I'll probably be suicidal. Things need to change, but am struggling to do it

Not really. I couldn't inflict that on my family and friends...

Does suck royally when the only reason you have for living is not upsetting loved ones though

I'd say even 'normals' would surprisingly say yes on this. But it's about facing the stresses of everyday life and fending on isn't it?

Not exactly. I would like to go to sleep as me, and wake up with my SA gone. At one point I would have said yes though.

Quite a depressing thread seeing all the yes'es. Especially those from some people I know quite a bit.
