If a tipping point from SA to avoidant PD includes intimacy avoidance then I guess I tip over into avoidant especially if we are talking about sexual intimacy.
Although I had sex with my wife it was infrequent and it was something I always felt awkward about. Apart from social interaction difficulties which restrict the forming of relationships the thought of it progressing to the other person wanting physical/sexual intimacy ramps up my anxiety levels.
