^ Nah, but it's back now. And although you're right, it's a Basement topic, it'd still be an interesting debate.

Oooh, it could be like debate-club in school where you have to argue the position you're given.

Except that in those debate-clubs you were forced to argue for a position you didn't even agree with

^^ Yeah, but it's excellent practice for a) being able to understand all sides of an argument and then b) coming up with effective counter-arguments. Playing Devil's Advocate is my hubby's favourite game and while it makes me want to throttle him, I will admit, grudgingly, it's a great way of exploring ideas.

It was quite exciting actually trying to think of justifications for positions you don't agree with. Usually though, it just ended up with me having a huge debate with myself

^ Me too. And all too often I dissolve into pondering induced apathy and have to lie down for a while. Stupid brains.

Yeah I think I will text later asking if he wants to go for a few drinks sometime? This guy has told me he loves me on a work night out and says he wants to be with me, it's just awkward trying to arrange to do things, we've kissed before and every time we go out with work he has indicated he likes me - I'm just a bit crap at showing it back -feel too SA!!

Drinks as "just friends!" - I don't know whether I could deal with being in a relationship.

Thanks. Haha, no I'm not like that. Would rather try just for a few drinks first before even thinking of things becoming more serious. Wouldn't really feel comfortable taking it further than kissing when not in a relationship.

As biscuits says just enjoy yourself and have a nice time. No need to think further ahead than that
