^10 waves? aye... I thought I was doing good when me and some randomers got to wave 6 haha. We were playing in an area where there was no good cover, so we had to dodge about a bit. How do you survive the helicopters? I always have trouble hitting them consistently.

Ah yes the choppers are the difficult bit, the later waves give you a minigun which makes it easier to bring them down (****ing love the minigun ), but not before wave 8 I think. I have difficulty bringing them down as well, I think it probably helps to use an assault rifle, just have to somehow kill the driver and then they come straight down, never easy.

I have no online connection. So far ive liked the game, I've been exploring and the map is more realistic. I find the radio control gimmicky though.

Ive gotten more use to the controls, before I was pressing the button for radio too hard. I played fir tge longest time I have done in a long time. I enjoy the worldwide radio station. I still have to discover alot of the map.
Some of the missions I did, I've already seen on youtube.

I really hate that by the time I get this game and have a chance to play it online there'll be no-one else playing it.

Probably will be, loads of games still have people playing online after years. Plus GTAO is really addictive and will be adding lots of DLC too it.

Well, I hope so. By the time I got around to playing GTA 4 it was already dying down, not dead completely, but it was on it's way out. Online games without any players is a common problem on console, at least from what I've seen. Far Cry 3 is a game I wanted to get into online, but it didn't have very many players last time I tried it, shame, I loved playing Far Cry 2 on all those user created maps, it was a lot of fun.

Far Cry 3 never had many players at the start as the servers were weak and made everyones mics sound annoying. GTAO is on a different scale tbh.

I don't think Far Cry 3's online mode ever really took off to be honest, I heard it was quite bad. Rockstar have a long term plan for GTA Online though, including constantly adding in new missions, races, death match arenas and modes, a mission editor so users can create their own contents and eventually adding new locations including other fully explorable cities, so I think people will be playing for a while.

like pandapop and Pablo Huntsbach said people will be playing GTAo for a good long time now that the teething problems have been fixed as they pop out more DLC and expand on things it will bring people back.

I want them to do an undead nightmare kind of thing for online but add in the modding for big vehicles I want to build me a battle bus

It's good that GTA does now have a focus on multiplayer, it's usually the games that have a lot of focus on multiplayer that still have players months and years down the line, like CoD and Halo. The multiplayer is certainly a big thing for Rockstar this time around, so maybe I don't have anything to worry about.

What little of Far Cry 3 I did play online I didn't really enjoy, I just got really frustrated a lot. I was hoping it would have been a similar experience to Far Cry 2, which I loved online even though it actually wasn't a great multiplayer game. It was the maps that made it so much fun.

I've lost interest in GTA 5, I might pick it up sometime in the future (when/if I get Xbox Live back perhaps) but I foresee myself transitioning to next-gen and just forgetting all about it.

I still wouldn't be surprised if it came to next gen alongside the pc version. At the very least I think they have to put out a standalone version of Online if their long term plans are really going to work out, and if the next gen consoles really are just PC's with a custom OS then it should be simple enough to get a digital version out there.

Well I finished the main game a week or so ago and I was pretty disappointed, especially with The Big Heist, which was so unbelievably easy it left a bit of a sour taste.

Also went for option C which was... fine.

Online is okay so far but the whole combat system needs a revamp with no auto-aim option!
