The DVLA online car taxing service not working yet again. Suppose I'll have to go to the Post Office then

Agreed, I even annoyed myself with it enough to make a new account. Shouldn't be allowed.

The bag was in the bagging area. Those scales are really sensitive. I scan everything, pay, then bag it up.

cooking potatoes in the oven. they take so long to cook so you have to plan your meal around the potato. it also varies on the size so its a tricky balance to get the timing right.

^ Ah yep, same. The sloppy thing especially. I actually can't eat sandwiches if they have anything that's in anyway sloppy in them - butter, marg, cream cheese etc. - because I have flashbacks of friend in junior school school who always used to have such things at lunch and sit there open mouth with it all slopping about.

Just the sight of another eating a Philadelphia sandwich still makes me cringe. Ik.

And on another similar note, I can't stand getting stuck behind trucks on a dual carriageway overtaking other trucks just because they want to go 0.1 mph faster than the other truck, there was one time where it must have taken a full 3 minutes for the truck to overtake cause it was uphill

I hate noisy eating. My good friend who was staying with me for a few days recently is a particularly noisy eater and it was driving me mad!

That's one of my annoyances as well! Although it really doesn't take much to annoy me.

I personally think a law should be passed, forcing anyone who wants to eat crisps to eat them in a sound-proofed cubicle

Getting a strong craving for cereal at a time which is totally inappropriate for it.

^It's only societal convention that says it's inappropriate. I say if you want cereal, have cereal. Toast, on the other hand, that's another matter.

I have toast with dinner. I'm assuming you're a strict breakfast traditionalist?

Toast with dinner, that's a bit radical and something I've never considered.

Actually, I have been know to have brown toast with a prawn cocktail starter - so I guess that's the same? And, I occasionally have toasted sandwiches for lunch ... do I need to worry?

Oh my god, neither of you want to be admitting this in writing. When you get exiled for crimes against dinner propriety, don't expect sympathy from me.

I should start visiting my library again, I love the smell of libraries and it'd give me a good reason to leave the house other than work. You could go to charity shops when the library closes, they usually have a good selection of books.
Well you could read it again

Good luck back at work, glad to hear you're going back.
