Light alarm clock:

I like that this one goes from red to yellow, rather than dim yellow to bright yellow like a lot of the others.

It doesn't arrive until Saturday though.

It tastes warming and wholesome, yet light and fresh. How is that possible? I don't know, and I don't care.

^ Hahaha. That's the second time in a few days you've nearly turned me straight with your entertainment provision. Sorry, I know there probably isn't a more frightening thought.

My mum saw the little picture of that thing when you hover over another tab in my browser and said "is that a Scotch pie?". Just from the tiny image! Amazing, eh?

^ I shall do this, thanks.

someone should make a greeting card of that, of course with the caption "you are my cutie pie", for kooky types.

Two sets of earphones, as I like the model I currently have. Not a fan of those rubber'y ones that you put in.
Had to order some because as always, one conks out and you can only hear out of it if you hold the wire in a specific position.

Anyone played this before?

I wanted something new for us to play on Christmas Eve and this was on a few lists of good games to play with family at Christmas so I bought it. It looks like it might be a bit simple/childish for four adults to play though.

Ah Dobble's great

Suppose you've got 3 players. Each person pulls a card, there will be one common symbol amongst those three cards. The person who spots the common symbol and calls it out wins the cards for that round. Then you do the next round. Person at the end with the most cards is the winner.

Quite how the cards are designed is beyond me; how can it be that this round the common symbol is snowflake, next round the common symbol is dog? Some mad maths or whatever happening in the background.

But yeah, basically it's "Snap" lol

That sounds good from the description, but how much use can you get out of it? With games like that (with limited cards) I always worry they'll soon stop being fun once everyone learns the answers.

^^ + ^^^ Thanks, I'll see how it goes in a few days.
