Imagine being happily single and not having a desperate need for someone else to validate and define who you are. I'm white noise.

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Why the idiots upstairs don't install a doorbell? Both these idiots and the idiots before them have had no doorbell and generally don't hear their door until it's been knocked 2-4 times. It's a simple problem with a cheap and simple solution.
Not sure what to do about the washing machine. The issue might be the PCB, motor, or heating system. To get it fixed under the free parts warranty will cost £120 labour. If I knew what the issue was exactly, I could fix it myself. A replacement PCB is £60 and if it turns out not to be the faulty part I can send it back with a restocking fee of £15 so if I did that for all 3 parts and don't manage to fix it, I will have wasted £45. Buying a new machine will be £220 plus £16 for the council to remove the old one (why I should have to pay for waste removal I don't know), this option has the best future proofing and mum was planning on getting a new one when we moved anyway (because she's an idiot that loves to throw away money). |

^ Can I ask why you live with your mum if you dislike her that much?

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
She's too stupid to run her own life, if it wasn't for me she would have let the flat get repossessed and ended up homeless as she thought it better to pay for wine than her own mortgage, that would have thrown away the inheritance that me and my brother are due, having had to put up with her.
She's starting to go senile and will soon need to be cared for, I can do this to a higher standard than carers and without throwing away our inheritance to pay for it. It's free accommodation for me, which allows me to save to support myself in the future as she has arranged nothing towards that end. She's actually a lot better behaved than she has been historically, it's less common that she's deliberately nasty these days, which has mostly been a constant. |

I guess as an alternative, had you not wanted to 'put up with her' you could have lived independently, seeing as you work. You would have been free of her then. |

I have lived independently before a few times, it's just expensive, not much positive to say about it other than not being around mum. I need to think about what's best for me and my brother in the long term rather than what might feel a little better to me in the short term, like dieting basically. |

^^ That's so sad to hear Kooky After people and pets, I think that pictures that capture cherished memories are the most precious things we possess.
Do you have any idea where you might have lost your camera while out and about and when? It's may be a bit of a long shot but maybe someone handed it in to lost property? I hope you find it ^ Enjoy your holiday Mutedsoul |

^ Twins have that special relationship with someone that they've known literally since before birth so it must give a sense of security somehow. Some twins can't stand eachother though, that must be hard! I wonder if anyone here is a twin.

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ Do you find yourself waking up a lot in the night or jumping awake? Sometimes if you're not getting proper deep sleep it can leave you still feeling tired. I remember reading that people with certain breathing problems can be left still feeling tired in the mornings. There was some sort of mouth guard type thing that could help with it, if I remember rightly.

That way you can actually hear whats going on during the night to see how disrupted your sleep actually is. It's called Snore Recorder or something similar Sleep apnea (disrupted breathing during sleep) is really common Although the sleep apnea machine looks like it hasn't been updated since the 50's But surely you gotta go all the way and get the Alien version |
