Starsky and Hutch for sure. Jasper may be a dark horse though....(no pun intended!)

@ Mo - I love Donkeys and have always thought of them as placid docile animals so it's really interesting to hear how they can be pretty aggressive if something gets their back up. When my son was small I used to take him to see a couple of donkeys that were in a local field. They always used to sidle over to be petted and fussed although we always stayed on the opposite side of the fence, just incase!

I shall check out the video and piccies you've posted

@ Percy - Sorry to hear you're having a bit of a tough time of it. I hope you feel better very soon

Tits

I'm being pushed to go back to work more and more, I'll be back to 40hrs+ by July

Not appy, the last 3 months I've never felt so..at ease in my head (it only took a worldwide pandemic to stop me stressing out)

It is good to hear the pandemic has resulted in a positive for you - being more at ease in your head.

I can understand your worry about returning to work. Have you spoke to them about your concerns?

I'm feeling what I can only describe as an intense feeling of emptiness. It has been like this the last couple of weeks, but mostly the last few days. I hope it doesn't last.

There is a huge variety, we have a hay ball for one pony (it has holes in it and you stuff it with hay), you can get ones for carrots ettc..

The ones are donkeys like are similar to below, they can roll them or kick them but it also has a handle so they can carry the ball in there mouths.
Thanks, that's nice to know. I could watch a donkey being entertained by one of those all day

^^ Emptiness is better than misery, I find pepple seem to have the point of view that everything is pointless, but I don't agree. It's human beings that give life meaning it's down to us as individuals. Wishing everyone calmness and happiness.

Sorry to hear that Percy, suicidal ideation is something that plagues me too.

I am feeling a lot better that I have been over the last two weeks.

Every so often my mood crashes and I find myself in a dark place. It takes no time at all to fall in but weeks to climb back out.

But I am off my knees right now so onwards and upwards.

Not good, our cat just died on Tuesday morning (she only outlived her brother by two years and he had a long history of illness), I had only just returned to work from furlough on Monday and I was also informed on Tuesday that a delivery driver who we saw frequently at work passed away at home while on furlough a few weeks back.

Suicidal urges are the worst, honestly. Just wish I had something more easily understood - its awful, major depression is like the emotions of a constant break up, maybe even a bit worse than that but less acute. It's impossible to break the cycle at this point. I'm so stubborn and determined, it's just as well I'm so introverted but could do with the company tbh. Literally everyone rejects me now, it's like I am seen as like a lower class of unworthy person, don't know how I should react to that?

So sorry to hear about your cat Ninja
It's always devastating when a pet dies because they are a much loved member of your family. I hope your lovely memories of your cat bring you some comfort at this time

It's also sad news about the delivery driver. Even if you weren't very close to someone it can still come as a horrible shock to hear of their sudden passing.

Feeling pretty terrible in every way possible.

I hear you Utopia and I wouldn't wish those feelings on my worst enemy

You certainly aren't in any way inferior to other people so don't let anyone convince you otherwise. From my experience, even nice people can be pretty thoughtless when it comes to other people and their feelings, it's usually nothing personal, so please try not to prove your worth by seeking validation from others.

As sad as it sounds, I now tend to expect very little from people so that I won't be endlessly disappointed.

Argh, I'm totally rubbish at being supportive and/or giving advice

^ Hoping you are alright consolida - I don't think you should feel that way as far as I am aware.

Tbh anyone suffering with real depression has my sympathy - it's awful.

I feel calm yet I'm awake quite late, which is a bit different for me... will probably fall asleep soon.

Hope everyone feels better x

I'm trying not to care but deep down it really hurts that people from work don't see me as a friend when someone else did it so easily with all of them.
I've been kind to everyone, I've tried making & joining in with conversations but it's just not happening.

No, I think that's good advice, but I can't help but feel a bit angry or disgusted sometimes tbh.

The thing that helped me is what consolida said about not letting others convince you that you are not as worthy a person or anything like that - basically you need to attach less meaning to others opinions of yourself and instead just try to come to your own conclusions - it's easier said than done but it's honestly one of the things that helped me with that kind of behaviour. I kind of do that naturally, and personally go into social situations to have a laugh usually (naively), but more often than not everyone is trying to gain some kind of upper hand in one way or another or influence and control things here or there, and seem to gain self-esteem by sapping from others - which I never understood but people do it and it will disappoint anyone with any kind of genuine morals. I know it's a bit depressing but it's just one of those things in life. You could politely mention feeling left out of social things and that you want to be a part of it, but it has a chance of making things worse. Anything you read online is just an opinion though, it's best to weigh things up in your mind from multiple opinions.
