A quick(ish) Hello....
Hi to everyone who reads this
 I've taken a big step joining this board. I've suffered with mental health issues for a number of years and with SA for even longer so. Having read a few of the post here of the past 3 or 4 days I've realised this could be a good place for support and idea sharing. So I thought I would take the chance, join up and introduce myself as my first post. Having read the posts from the past few days I already feel part of the board as silly as that may sound, I think thats from relating to much of what has been said in the posts I have read. I really hope this can give me some much needed support and help, I am sure everyone here is friendly and more importantly understands! Something I feel is a major barrier in things like SA, depression etc. Not that I am expecting all the answers here, I know all in all it's me who needs to make the changes, but now I've hit 30 thats getting more difficult all the time! Anyway I really wanted just to say hello, and already I am babbling. Good luck and take care everyone, Mark |

Welcome to the board.
30? you've still got plenty of time! Hopefully in a few years you will be able to look back on yourself when you where 30 and see how much progress you have made. Good luck! |

Hi again everyone, my internet connection has been down so haven't been here as much as I would have liked to already, but it was a lovely suprise tonight when I finally did get here to see all the welcome messages I got in response to my 'Hello' post.
Thank you all for taking the time to reply and say Hi. I am sure you all know the feeling that it can mean a lot even just to say Hello to someone new. Hope everyone is having a decent week even though it is too hot (for me anyway). Once again thanks for the kind welcome all who replied. Mark. |
