I feel the hardest part for me about music production is the subtleties. Such as making sounds that gradually change, knowing where to put sound effects. I used to think the intro was easy to a song but now I feel it's a subtle art. For example, this sounds simple, not super simple however it takes knowing the subtleties of production and a good ear to make it. It's coming apparent to me as I'm becoming more comfortable making repetitive loop music rather than trying to force transitions into everything.

I'm freaking out over the possibility of seeing a male psychologist. I don't feel comfortable around men so I don't see myself being able to talk openly about my life. I feel so petty and don't know how to ask if I could see a female instead. Whŷ am I so abnormal?

Welcome to the first, and probably the last, award ceremony for myself....

in reaching 2 months as a SA Forum Member!

There’s so many people to thank. First of all I want to thank my parents for conceiving me. Although I’d rather not imagine the actual event itself. Well unless it had a humorous element to the event. Like for example if my Father was dressed as a cowboy and my Mother was dressed as a.............

No!!!!!!!

I was wrong!!!!!

Reverse thoughts!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, back to my acceptance speech

I want to thank whoever created the universe. I really appreciate it! It couldn’t have been easy. In fact, I hear it’s still being created as we speak. What with expanding and all. Personally I think it’s big enough as it is. Not that it’s my place to say how big it should be. But it does seem a tad too big already. There’s plenty of legroom for everyone, is what I’m saying. No crampedness here. But anyway, thanks again!

I also want to thank life’s circumstances for allowing me to experience SA. Without you I might not have had the opportunity to experience the life of a nervous wreck. So thank you.

Lastly I want to thank the SA forum for allowing me to accept this self indulgent award. Well when I say allow, what I really mean to say is that I was too anxious to ask anyone if it was ok to accept this award. Although if I had the confidence to ask if it was ok to accept this award, then it would probably mean that I didn’t need this award in the first place. So I’m sure you can appreciate my dilemma in all of this.

Oh and please no comments or asking for autographs. It's nothing personal, it's just that I want to be alone with my aloneness. Although I am trying to overcome my SA, so maybe being alone with my aloneness is counterproductive. So on reflection, I think I should at the very least offer a single autograph. But please don't sell my autograph on ebay, as I feel it would only cheapen the sentiment of the autograph itself.

upload it here -

and then you can use the link there to post it here

anyway i'm thinking about my stomach. it doesnt feel too good. i really pigged out on rubbish yesterday and am feeling the effects.

i think there is occasionally a time where a sane person can think "oh my goodness i really have eaten far too much", and in such cases it would be nice to just be able to turn a tap and pour out some of the excess, rather than suffering for 24 hours and also becoming fat

Thanks Kevin, I hope you feel better soon What were you eating?

Horrendous quality but it was taken on my crappy 2011 phone, and 100% zoomed in, in the dark.
Still creepy though?

OK so you basically can't see it Damn.

Currently doing the funeral celebrant's job and writing my mother's service. I think I should get at least 50% of his fee given his lazy arse attempt.

maybe we should have a health thread? For sticking to goals about eating well, sleeping well, not drinking buckets of wine (just me!) that kind of malarkey. I am aiming to start my health kick this weekend...I want to lose about a stone before I go on holiday in the summer. I know there is a weekly weigh in and also one for exercise...but I'd rather not focus on the actual weight, more just better food and wellbeing.

^ I am, Jinny, thank you. I'm just a bit conflicted about the direction the celebrant wants to take the service. While I'm all for celebrating someone's life, no one's is all unicorns and rainbows and I think it does my mother a disservice not to mention all the health problems - mental and physical - that she endured and fought. I think how she handled them is more testament to her character than all the bullshit 'funny' stories that can be thrown in, so even if it puts a downer on proceedings - stuff it, I'm putting it in!

(I bet you regret asking now )

that sounds the right thing to do, Kooky.

At my Uncles funeral a few years ago there were lots of funny stories from when he was a young man, mainly from old friends, but he had been divorced from my auntie and remarried and the most memorable part was when his stepson just talked about what a great stepdad he'd been & also how proud he was that my uncle had battled alcoholism for most of his adult life. And that he'd rescued lots of cats, I hadn't known that about him.

I've lost a stone

I should be quite pleased but instead I'm panicking its illness related

It's taken 2 months so its not exactly fell off and I needed to lose a good 3+ stone anyway so its not like it's not welcome.

But it seems to have come off..fairly easy, I know I cut my calorie intake down to an amount that would lose 1lb a week anyway but barring that I'm really not trying, maybe its the 2 months of stress, maybe its the new found (I wouldnt call it love, its ****ing miserable) drink of choice..water.

Christ, I should just go buy dominos.

Landlord's coming to check the gas appliances today so I've spent two evenings cleaning and tidying to make the place look a bit better looked-after. I only hope he falls for the illusion and doesn't look or smell too closely!

I think if I watched half an hour a day of YouTube videos of pigs and cows frolicking around, I could just about maintain being vegetarian.

LOOK AT THE HAPPY PIGGIES

Right, no more pork for me. Till the weekend. Maybe.

Why am I so good at pushing people away?
When I could really do with some support I just seem to alienate anyone who is offering it and then hate myself even more.
