^^ I find when I feel like this that taking deep breaths, try to clear my mind and then try to do what needs doing without over thinking the situation helps. I hope the fear passes soon D.

I'm going to start taking control of my mind and my hypochondriac tendencies which started last year.

At the moment I have a nasty throat virus which is fortunately on it's way out, nightly panic attacks, heartburn, a bladder that makes me get up at least 4 times a night, constant OCD and I have had enough.

I'm lucky that it's just transitory things and nothing too serious. Even the bladder thing is sometimes fine.

I have no more patience with fear always dominating my life.

Not sure where to begin, no therapy on the horizon. Guess it will just be a case of giving no ****s, books and meditation.

I'm anxious because we are moving house and I now have to contend with two guys who want to go on dates with me not sure either of them are going to be interested in a sweaty gibbering anxious man child tbh

Not only does this involve the anxiety of meeting strangers it also involves the anxiety of unknown places and getting to them without getting lost, it would be better to meet on territory familiar to me but I don't think the farm or my room are appropriate venues, dreaded pubs it is I guess

Have just ordered a prescription of propranolol for good measure.

^ Day at work, with big potential for issues. We're understaffed and taking a fairly large group of adults with learning difficulties to the theatre. Should be okay, but already been having issues with some of them over it for the last week so dreading it somewhat.

I'm feeling fairly naff.

Yesterday I had a training day for some volunteering I'm looking to do for a mental health charity, and the worst possible thing occurred: someone I knew fairly well at secondary school and who was close to a few of my friends was one of the seven attendees. I didn't notice until I'd sat down, settled myself, and had the register passed to me, with her name glaring out in girlish script from the top of it. After throwing a stuttered hello her way, we were then asked to describe our reasons for being there, including the issues we'd struggled with ourselves. Of course, I was asked first.

I felt pretty awful yesterday, so I'm fairly certain I'd have come across very stilted and uncomfortable, and basically a lot more mental than I am on an average day. I exchanged some small talk with Girl at lunch, with her asking me if I was still in contact with anyone from school, me replying 'no', and her saying she was much the same, except for that person. And that person. And that person.

I'm very embarrassed with myself and my situation generally, but on a usual day it doesn't matter so much because I don't really encounter anyone who'd really be able to see it for what it is. People who have known me in the past are different though. And her particularly so, because she was always a little judgemental and she's still in contact with lots of people I've known who would be too. Now, I know it's very unlikely she'd tell much about seeing me to anyone I'd be too concerned about, but it still feels horrible and has just served to highlight how unhappy I am with everything (as if I needed reminding). And I think she's going to the other training thing next week.

I wish I could just brush it off like a proper grown up, but -- you know the rest.
