I joined this discussion board as though I have never been diagnosed with a social anxiety disorder I know I suffer it in some form. I am 30 years old and have very few friends and those I do have I find it very hard to connect with. I hold myself back professionally because I get myself all worked up about the littlest things and find it so difficult to communicate with people. I could go on for pages but in a nutshell I've joined here because I'm at a point in my life where I need something to change so I hope this helps.
