I was just reading about Christopher Eccleston having anorexia and in the past severe clinical depression. I'm glad he's spoken out about it.

He was my fav. doctor (admittedly I gave up watching after David Tennant) and I always feel a really underrated British actor. I'd have never of guessed he was struggling with mental illness all through that and in other programmes like the recent drama with the Autistic boy (cant recall of the top of my head what it was called). The only reason I tuned in to that was cause he was in it.

@Purplesnarf, Dougella, mutedsoul, Melangell

Thanks

I had a nice day in the end, went out for a nice long walk and bike ride along the Thames. It was beautiful out, glad I went.

Had to turn on the little light on in the kitchen to be able to see to make my smoothie this morning. Jack Frost will soon be nibbling at our nuts.

An old care worker of my mums got in touch with me on f/b at the weekend, asking about my dad (they became quite friendly) which was a bit out of the blue, I haven't seen her for 6? years. At the same time I had a post on my local village group about needing a man with a van. She doesn't live near me but about 10 miles away, however she must have noticed the post/be a member and is now offering me her van/help (she apparently has one, lol), I'm a bit sa about it all but it would save me about £130 quid.

Life is full of strange coincidences. And I guess f/b does have the power for good as well as evil after all.

^Oh, no. I wish! lol. No I have a few bits of my parents furniture and a few boxes of stuff in storage, which is a total waste of money. I've finally got my finger out (and got over my avoidence, well a bit) to get the stuff home.

Bit spooky she should randomly contact me, one of the few ppl locally that has a connection to/knew both my parents just as i'm in the process of sorting their stuff out.

Yeah, that is odd O_o

A dresser, corner unit and table (the table I really shouldn't have kept) which was our dining room furniture from pretty much when I was born. It's strangely not dated and quality pieces which for some stupid reason when I came to it couldn't part with. Then some odds and ends in boxes plus a barely used henry hoover and barely used 32 inch telly which my dad got for his room in the care home.

Money mostly, I love having a storage space but you might just as well make a money bonfire and light a match. It was reasonable but lately they keep hiking the cost.

Cool, you might have better use for it when you move, and Henry Hoovers are awesome

Having a flash back to when I was living at home and my Mum said to me, "some people would get very annoyed with you, you know." I don't even really know what she was meaning at the time, other than that some people would find me annoying and difficult to deal with etc. But part of this is why I feel so much more mentally healthy now, because I'm not living with anyone who's making judgements about me or my problems (which just compounds them) or what I do, or don't do, or act like. I don't want to be around anyone I might have a negative effect on and now I don't have to be.

Woke up after my nice lie in and saw I had a missed call. I took a look and thought, why is the guy that does the packing at work calling me at 9:15 on a Saturday morning?

After much panic, stress, and money, I think I'm mostly prepared for my upcoming 2 week holiday to China. I'm hoping all the foreboding that I've done over the last few weeks is just going to mean it will turn out fine (my usual tactic)

Obviously, though it has stressed me because I've just signed back into here for the first time in months to post this. Touche brain.

China sounds good, be an experience.

I'm wondering if i'm going to get food poisoning as I ate some rice that had been left out an hour. We shall see. I find out in 1-5hours.

Hello Spud, nice to see you. Oh I've had many usernames, I think the last one before this was Claptrap or David Artensborrow. You'll probably remember me as the guy who bet on corners.

Errr it's Hong Kong to Beijing, with a few stops in between. Some scenery, history and culture and all that. Going to some kind of panda sanctuary too haha

Ha, no, i do remember you, just couldn't conjure any of your previous names - and, yes, the corners, never forget them, i still dabble with that market!

Oh, very nice, a good time will be had. Let us know how you do
