Error 403 Forbidden
In one certain thread "The answer in three words games" I can't reply. It gives me this message:
Error 403 Forbidden Please email administrator@social-anxiety-community.org if you are getting this message in error. /db/newreply.php But I can reply to other threads fine.... (I know, I know. It says to e-mail but I'd rather just ask here). |

Re: Error 403 Forbidden
It could be that the url is incorrect or not been accepted by the server. It is basically a blanket 'no you're not coming in' from the server. It is mostly used to protect directories e.g. http://www.social-anxiety.org.uk/puce/
It could be over protective security settings to protect against automated attacks and spam. In which case it is not likely to be permanent. |

Re: Error 403 Forbidden
Well it's still happening, but only with that thread. Yet other people have replied to it since. I'm confused.

Re: Error 403 Forbidden
It could be a browser issue, especially since you can newreply for other things. You could close down your browser and start it up again, if that doesn't work clear your cache. The reason why I think it is a browser issue is because newreply.php is the page requested by the base server the parameters after the ? are to do with the php server, which is separate. So I think you are not identifying yourself to the server when you click on that link or for whatever reason your authorisation is interrupted.

Re: Error 403 Forbidden
Is it possible to change the forum so that it allows the word? As far as I know it can't be used in a rude context so it makes no sense!
I know it's not a very common word to use, but the rule is silly! (unless of course it means something very rude that I'm not aware of). |

Re: Error 403 Forbidden
edit - is not a browser specific issue. The issue is caused when there is a word after [curl]. Which supports the idea that a [curl] function is being called in php. This might cause a security vulnerability.

Re: Error 403 Forbidden
But all I wanted to write was "can you curl your tongue"?
Can't see how that would cause problems! |
