Stop it, the both of you! You're making me doubt whether this has actually become part of the negotiation process!

^ If you want them to recieve your nude despite the poor broadband speed, you'd need to send them a small file, so send them a photo of your penis to scale.

Haha, good one, Jam - didn't see that coming!

I've actually never sent a proper 'nude' to anyone. I have however sent my flaccid, on a chopping board, among some vegetables to someone... which was very well received!

^ Asking recommendation for a fake tan from a bunch of socially anxious people who don't leave the house, are self-conscious, and are afraid to stand out from the crowd is like me going on a right-wing forum and asking them to recommend a good burqa.

Well... in that case, everyone should have plenty of time on their hands to try out at least four products (one on each limb) and get back to me with their product ratings

Ten litres of Tango.. in a bathtub... mixed with hot water and bubbles, for ten minutes. Best tan i've ever had. It's in the name...

I guess I could pour bottles of Tango into the shower cubicle and then dive in?

I'm not sure how water tight the doors are though

^ Bathless in Seattle.

There's just a shower box/cubicle thing. The last time I took a bath, I kept topping it up with hot water. Then when I got out I sort of blacked out and couldn't see! It was like the bottom of my vision was all black. I had to go downstairs and sit with the back door open to get my temperature back down to normal.

I'm not sure how someone can mess up a bath, but I managed to

They don't warn of the dangers of baths, eh! Lol, i did actually picture you keep topping it up with hot water! I thought baths would be right up your street, what with you being cold most of the year.

Have you ever correctly predicted something about the future?

I remember in sixth form, around 2012-13. One day I was with a peer walking with her to college and said how so many kids rode scooters. I assumed scooters would become more popular since the young generation, I mean Primary School kids, all had scooters.

In the 2020s now people of all ages ride scooters. Back in 2012 it stood out if even a teen rode a scooter.

If you wanna see future trends see what the younger generations are doing, but idk how accurate this is. Also I feel younger generations grew up with males having medium length hair a lot that now it seems common for a male teen to have medium length hair. I’m 27, but I’m comparing myself to the gen z teenagers I have seen.

I remember scooters suddenly became popular with young teens during my late primary school/early secondary school, so around 2001-4. Everyone seemed to have one. There always seemed to be a news story of some kid getting hit by a car.

Perhaps it also depends in what area you live in. Scooters weren’t as popular in the parts of London I traveled in, during the early 10’s, apart from Primary School kids. Now they are really normal.

Also is probably popular in waves I guess.

My question is this: if they wanted to negotiate a new contract at a higher price (likely), would saying, 'fine, i've spoken to my neighbour and they said i can use theirs', hold any sway? I'm fairly certain downstairs is with Virgin and they won't want to lose my custom and have two separate addresses using the one service.
I've installed Whatsapp and am in a conversation currently. I got an email earlier to say, contract ending mid May and the rolling contract price thereafter, for my current service, is £44... ! That's up from £25. I mean, honestly how do they come up with such bullshit pricing. Nationalise the ****ing lot of it ...

Does anyone keep the leftover olive oil from a jar of sun-dried tomatoes? I do, and i'd like to know how long is it wise to keep for? I'm getting through quite a lot of these tomatoes and now have two jars worth of leftover olive oil, some of which probably going back two months ago.

^ Olive oil alone normally lasts a year or so I think. I guess an issue might be if there are still bits of tomato in there that could go bad sooner? Might be worth trying to sieve it or something - though even then there might be tomato residue left in there that might not be great.

Either way, with the shortages you should definitely keep it - could end up worth more than oil oil by the end of the year even if a bit off.

Nice. Yeah, that's the doubting thing is the tiny bits of tomato leftover. I always check and smell it before use, so i was quite sure it was okay. The bits look the same as they always did - no sign of bacteria.

And i've just looked and olive oil has preservative ability, so... yeah, think i'm good.

Way back when i was in schooling, doing English, i remember an excerpt from a book we were studying which was set in dystopia and robbery was an arranged thing... ? Like, the 'robber' knocked on your door and it was 'your turn' to get robbed, sort of thing. Does anyone know of this book?

Ugghhhhhh, really quite ****ed off now. I've just read an email with an overview of the new contract - they've reneged, ignored the terms i agreed to with the person i last spoke with and have decided what was really meant by the agreement was actually £44 p/m..... !!! I told them that £44 is too much - it's in the text history. Furthermore i now can't access their site, it comes up with 'bad request' ......

Is usually the on button and volume up at the same time.
Or the power button and home key.
Or the power button and volume down.

Depends on the phone!

Thanks, Bix. It was (hold together) power and home.

This has really pissed me off. I did think it was too good to be true.

They're not having it - load of shite about it being a mistake, there are no discounts or promotions, etc. I said i'd take it further, mentioned Ofcom. I asked twice what their best offer was and wasn't offered anything

I've been put through to retentions now - weekend closing time is 5pm though

I absolutely won't be paying £44 p/m though, that's ridiculous.

How long is it before you're regarded as a 'new customer' i wonder...

^ poh.. that is frustrating!! When you next speak to someone, ask to talk to a manager or supervisor person as you're complaining about them offering you a deal and then going back on it. They'll have more room to budge on price.

Hope you manage to get a cheaper deal!
