Re: Being insulted on the street
^ The halloween photo is the most recent of me unfortunately (but fortunately - Like many here I hate pictures of me, truth be told)
I don't think a persons size is a major deterrant for a lot of the 'intentionally confident' guys and girls out there. & when you've got a so called tough guy with something to prove, well everyone's fair game, for the most. |

Re: Being insulted on the street
That's London I suppose.
Last spring I had a drunken West Ham supporter scream in my face after a match (my side won). When I ignored him and tried to walk away, he and his friends followed me, shouting things, until I got down to the main road, and there were police assembled. It's such a terrible feeling to be verbally assaulted-- just try to remember that in situations such as you've described, it's not personal. They're bellowing and bullying for the sake of bellowing and bullying. |

Re: Being insulted on the street
I find it difficult to be offended by common, random insults from strangers. If I was one of these people that go around doing it, I'd say something specific like 'You're afraid of becoming your father!' Most of the time you'd be way off but sometimes you'd genuinely perturb someone. 'How did he know? What gave it away!?'
