Spotify addict here. I mostly use it on my phone instead of having a separate MP3 player. £10 a month for all the music I want is a pretty good deal.

+1 for Spotify. Paying for it is a good deal, as I can download songs on to my phone, and play them in the car without an Internet connection.

Both good services.

There are others you shouldn't rule out such as Deezer.

If you have a mobile phone, you might get some of these free or at a discount as a perk. I think EE have stopped offering Deezer, but Vodafone were pushing Spotify so might still be offering that.

Even paying £10/month is not bad if you make good use of it.

I used to use the web-based Spotify at work but it doesn't seem to work any more. Spotify's pretty poor at discovery anyway, I tend to find stuff I like on Bandcamp or Soundcloud these days.

Spotify, but I am going back onto Spotify free again, not using it enough to justify the £10 per month.
