I think Netflix has a downside, you binge watch a series you're on a little high from it, then you sort of have withdrawal symptoms.

What's the most not-terrible-but-completely-underwhelming-and-just-plain-stupid number? I'd give it that.

Good stuff: Interesting moral dilemma (that unfortunately gets conveniently resolved and brushed off so wasn't actually a dilemma), woman in the walls, decent acting, the bits where weird stuff happens and you hope there'll be an explanation before the film ends.

Bad stuff: The weird stuff never gets explained, and even the characters seem to take it all in their stride as 'Well, it's just parallel universe shit, innit? Let's not question it.' YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE A DISEMBODIED SENTIENT ARM APPEAR AND THEN FORGET ABOUT IT. BUGGER EARTH, THIS IS NOW CHRIS O'DOWD'S MAD ARM: THE MOVIE. The Earth side plot with the little girl goes absolutely nowhere, it's like they forgot they left it in the script. And it's so tenuously linked to Cloverfield that virtually any film could be a Cloverfield film if you just put an inexplicable CGI monster at the end. The Cloverfield Man: Sergeant Howie gets freed from his burning prison by the sudden appearance of a giant monster, the end. There Will Be Cloverfield: Mean old Daniel Plainview gets his comeuppance when a giant monster stomps on his private bowling alley, the end.

3/10? I've still added it to my watch list, I like a bit of disappointment

Did anyone try American Vandal? I've just seen a trailer/announcement for the second season - it's pretty good, worth a go if nothing else.

I'm currently halfway through Dirty Money. I binged wikipedia off the back of this, looking through stuff that wouldn't normally interest me - it was quite insightful. I need to catch up on some of the 'must watch' documentaries, i'm way behind.
