Unhappy Relaxing

I had a pretty bad day today and needed somewhere to relax. I began thinking about some of the most relaxing places i have been too and realised that oddly the best place is outside my office.

I work in a converted barn and the place is surrounded by fields, when i am stressed or my SA gets bad i go out for a cigarette and just look across fields admiring the wildlife or the horses nearby. Its truley one of the most tranquil places i have ever been.

Where is the most relaxing place you have ever been?

*sorry for the stange thread , it just came to me while i was thinking about this*

that sounds really lovely

In the daytime I like to go down to the sea, I live real close by.

I wouldn't risk going there alone at night unfortunatly although I wish I could, I feel really at peace there.

It's so nice to just look at and I love when the waves are crashing.

There was a disused factory close to where I lived when I was seven.
There were some huge (well, they seemed huge at the time) cylindrical bins outside, and one of them had cardboard lining the bottom, it was empty apart from that.

It was a beautiful warm day, and I remember climbing in, lying down and looking up at the blue sky and white clouds, it was so peaceful, cut-off from my parents and the world outside. I ended up falling asleep for hours and getting into loads of trouble, but it was worth it.

I live right by the beach and red squirrel reserve. In the summer during the day it can get very busy which I don't like, but in the early morning or evening it is so nice to go and sit there and contemplate life.

The beach. Particularly the one in Jamacia I went to. I close my eyes and imagine I'm there and feel much more relaxed
