Why are bus shelters so called? Have you ever seen a bus sheltering in one?

Can you get rid of the subtitles in a video file if the subtitle info is not seperate? i.e not in a seperate small file.

not sure if I am understanding your question but if you mean can you get rid of hard encoded subtitles from an AVI file then you can't. But if you convert the file, you can crop it where you lose the subtitles, but you will lose some quality and some of the screen.

Oh, and you can blur subtitles but I dunno how you do that.

Yeah its hard encoded i guess. Still watchable but the subtitles are quite large in this file so cant really crop it or anything.

The best you can do is blur them.

Does anyone have any interesting topics I can research in (too much) depth on Wikipedia? Although she seems like a funny, and generally nice woman, I feel searching Theresa May is going too far.

I looked on that site cos i already pay stuff on credit with them and pay like £10 pcm but all the budget netbooks seem to be of a similar quality. I guess one of the main things to consider is what warranty/gurantee you get with the product and how long it lasts for.

The main stumbling block actually is that i haven't got wireless but use a dsl connection that connects with a external modem so i assume i can just connect the netbook to it via usb like i do with my desktop.

None of them. I guess kinda weigh out the pros & cons with regards to each action you could take. Sometimes there isn't a definitive right answer/decision, just one that's better (although not perfect) than the alternatives.

that is very tempting as its reduced by quite a lot, makes me wonder why though.
Yeah i will have to research into it all as i'm on XP now but seems most ship with Windows 7. Most of them seem to be ok having looked at some review sites like CNET, esp. the Acer & Samsung ones.

Not sure whats wrong with that Compaq laptop but this review may help. Probably not selling that well (its not the prettiest) so trying to get rid of the stock when the new models arrives cos like you said this sort of stuff changes so quickly and improves.

"netbooks" are terrible

get a laptop at least

proper netbooks have weak components in, i swear i got pissed off waiting my old one to open Word ..i ended up selling it , the only good thing they had going for them was the battery

that compaq is cheap but them e350/e450's are pretty weak...but general browsing/media playback it would be fine...as an example i have a media pc with an e350 (Which is 1 down from that e450) it can play a 22gb 1080p Avatar using 15% of the cpu

oh they are probably gonna be shifting some old models off because intels just released new processors..laptops are getting them in june

try camping the dell outlet too

sometimes you can get full on gaming laptops that cost about a grand for 400ish if your prepared to take a scratch or a dent..(some are completely fine)

certain times of the year they seem to allow certain vouchers to stack aswell...

coz netbooks are shit!

i said on the last page

they crawl to do basic tasks..even windows 7 upsets them, perhaps they are better now than when i had one a few years back

infact mine came with XP because it was too bloody weak for 7

seriously the only thing netbooks have going for them are the battery..ive got a 13.3" laptop now and im still not quite sure if i went too small
