I always have. Well, sort of, in that I'll have imaginary conversations with people in my head, speaking out loud my side of it. Sometimes I'll do it in a whisper in case the neighbours can hear me.

Yes and I have imaginary conversations with people in my head, go over what I should have said or what I would say.

Yes, it's the only intelligent conversation I get.

Most other people ignore me so I kind of have to.

I have started talking to myself out-loud while on a bike ride now though so if I ever time this badly I'm going to look kind of weird.

^ I talk out loud to farm animals and birds as I pass them though, then I realise I was talking out-loud and look around to see if anyone was nearby.

A bit, yeah. Have done since I was small. Usually it's either repeating instructions to myself before they go out of my head, or complaining/swearing when I'm anxious/angry/upset. I do try to tone that one down though because you can get LOOKS.

I suppose it's probably not a very good thing to do but I still do it lol.

I talk to myself all the time; sometimes, it's repeating instructions as I'm doing something, other times I give myself a little encouragement to do something, other times I'm just saying random things. I only do it when I'm alone, but there have been times when I've been in full flow and someone has appeared from round a corner.

Yeah, quite a lot I suppose. I've lived by myself for a long while though.

My dad was a serious talker to himself. Apparently so was my grandfather. Maybe it's genetic

Yes that's what I say, quite often you have to say "hello cow, why are you looking at me like that?" (cows do stare at you like you've done something wrong).

All the time. I think it stems from living on my own for five years. Only at home though usually.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one...
I talk to myself a lot these days, especially at work when I get particularly frustrated by Microsoft software...

Relieved to see I'm not the only one. God yes, I do it all the time. I also read aloud. I have a notebook, and whenever I read something I love I copy it in there. Then, when I feel low, I read it out loud to myself. I also read aloud from favorite novels, passages of Shakespeare...anything. The only condition is that it must be beautiful and uplifting. And I always feel better ***8211; it's a kind of therapy. For example, David Copperfield is my favorite Dickens novel. When I'm alone, I often read passages from this. I even do the voices (Uriah Heep, Mr Micawber, etc). Christ, if anyone secretly filmed me I'd have to emigrate
