Mama Mia: Here We Go Again

I give it six shits out of five.

Didn’t get it. It felt like it was never going to end. What was the plot?

It was worth enduring it though because it made my Mum so happy :D She was dancing at the end.

^ I think i'd need to be very drunk to watch that film!

Legend 7/10. A well made film, and both Krays excellently played by Tom Hardy. I'm interested in the history of the East End so that also got me quite interested.
While the film does accurately display what utter scumbags they are (rapists, murderers etc), part of me objects to films about them being made - it just adds to their notoriety. There seem to be a lot of people who idolise the Krays which I find ridiculous. I guess its a bit like those strange women who fall in love with death row prisoners.

^^ You still refer to a Mamma Mia-liker as mum? Publicly, too. You're a better person than me.

"Blade runner 2049" - 8/10

Not quite as good as the original (which Id give a 9.5/10) but pretty decent nontheless.

^^ I’ll call you something else in a minute.

^ I’ve never seen the original or the new one! They look good.

American Psycho - never seen it before because I thought it would be a horror and that it would give me bad dreams! What a strange film, but in a good way. 7/10

"27 Dresses".
Suffice to say I gave up after fifteen minutes or so.
Not my kind of film at all.

Extinction on Netflix.. don't even bother it was predictable as all shit and the random 180 in writing it did made me cringe. 2/10

latest Tom Cruise Mission Impossible thingy,....

I'd give it about,..7/10

good action shots and sequences, but seemed aimed slightly at kids or something

just something slightly missing,.. think it was a cross between Ronin, a (Daniel Craig)James Bond and John Wick or something, which isn't a bad thing, just seemed like there was too much non-stop action, and not enough camera shots of the amazing locations, and not enough 'down time' where the story ebbs a bit and you can take a breath.

The Bone Collector - I offered to put a film on for my Mum and she normally likes a romantic comedy (much to my dismay). But her love for Denzel saved the evening. 7/10 it was pretty decent. I haven’t watched a crime film in ages. I don’t think they’re even called crime films.

was angelina jolie terrible in that? i think i remember seeing that deep in the mists of time and thinking "her job in this is to have big lips and look pathetic and scared a lot", thats quite a high level of sentience for 90s Kev so it must have been pretty obnoxious

All The Money In The World. I may need to watch it again but I'd give it a tentative 8/10. I was distracted somewhat by Christopher Plumber not being Kevin Spacey
(Tho Plumber was great)

This may be the only Mark Wahlberg film that I've enjoyed him in (Ted and possibly Boogie Nights being the only other exceptions I can think of off the top of my head) generally speaking I find him an annoying twat but I have to concede he was good in this.

Notorious.

1946, Ingrid Bergman, Cary Grant, directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

Loved it, going to re-watch in the next few days.

Excellent acting, suspense, and the chemistry in the love-scenes!

Black Mass

We went with some random film on Netflix. I rarely watch films on Netflix. It takes ages to pick one and the nachos were getting cold and we were like, “That’ll do!” It was pretty good for a random choice.

We're The Millers

A mainstream Hollywood comedy, which I usually don't go for. But this was funnier than your average American film. I enjoyed it, and liked the characters. Some scenes with Jennifer Aniston were rather awkward to watch with my Mum haha.

So, a good laugh, if your not after anything particularly intelligent.

Oh, and it has Emma Roberts in it . That certainly wasn't the reason that got me interested in watching the film, of course

Urotsukidoji 2: Legend of The Demon Womb

The contents are more shocking but have less impact than the 1st movie. Nowhere near enough phalluses either imho, the first film was bursting with dicks (literally)

I give it 3 and a half semis out of ten

Incredibles 2 gets an 8/10 from me.

It was fantastic!! It blows all of those crappy Avengers films out of the water (which isn’t difficult).

I want to see it again. Take me to see it again!

saw it recently too. id struggle to get my score as low as yours

it was like when i used to go see films as a kid and it would BLOW YOU THE FUCK AWAY, just so much WOW WOW WOW WOW OMG, like they really delivered something fresh and exciting. dont want to go into spoilers but jack-jack and the raccoon was just TOO amazing, like who would have thought that could have been so incredible? particularly enjoyed samuel l jacksons performance but all the voice acting was epic, and the animation of facial expressions and gestures was like nothing i've seen. pixar have that midas touch, no doubt about it. just gushed sweet optrex all over my jaded old eyes

yeah im not even gonna give a mark out of 10 because im just fanboying so hard right now. loved the first incredibles so much too, i dont know why people arent raving about it constantly

^ Maybe people just think it’ll be Disney princessy or something. People don’t know nothing, Kevin. Let’s not be glad that we are us, but let’s glad that we are not them either.

Did you enjoy the cuuuute little Pixar short at the beginning?

Did you also stay until the very end of the credits to see if there would be a little something extra?

There was nothing at the end. Unless the projection person was being cruel and turned it off!

I was very surprised!!!

Mission Impossible 6. I'm not usually a fan of these types of film (James Bond can eat a bowl of d**ks for all I care) but jesus the action is insane. No CGI awfulness just Tom Cruise being a freaking lunatic. 8/10 Not quite as good as the last one, almost too much action but I was in awe of some of the stuff he pulled off. A feast for the eyes

^ Can’t say that I do! I have it every now and then - not on the regular. It is yum though.

Crunchy or smooth? Crunchy is my preference and I normally go for the no added sugar kind. Smooth is good too though.

Isle of Dogs :D

Been waiting forever to see this! Life got busy and I never got around to seeing it at the cinema. I award it.... what-a-treat out of 10.

[I’m not purposely only watching animated films with Breakong Bad/Better Call Saul voice actors.]

2 Was appalling! Oh god so bad But 4 + 5 are really good. Think 5 might be the best out of the whole series. Either way i'd say definitely give them another go. Sky1 has MI3 tonight at 9, that's a freeview channel so you could watch that (I have no recollection of 3 which means it was probably average). I'm not into action movies much but I do love these, mainly because he does all the stunts himself like the lunatic he is.
