That's not my hand! Still waiting for it to arrive in the post. Hmm, I heard that you should have the heart pointing towards the person you love (which is a bit cheesy but nvm!).

I generally hate Christmas, but I think The *Crafty* Elf's enthusiasm for everything festive must be rubbing off on me because I've gone and ordered some Mr Pickwick traditional coloured LSD Christmas lights for £34.

They look exactly like the fairy lights we used to have on the tree when I was a child and they even have the pink lights!

I know some folk might consider them tacky, but there's something incredibly comforting about the thought of recreating those happier Christmas's of long ago when I was free of worries and responsibilities.

Yes they're the ones! They arrived in the post today. They are quite brittle and plasticky and because they are LED they don't have that warmer glow that the ones with individual bulbs used to have but at least they are less likely to burn the whole house down! I'm sure, once they are on the tree, they will look a treat

Funny you should mention Pink lights as last year i bought some Rainbow coloured LED lights and they have Pink in them too
Ha, I love your 'don't give a flying fig' attitude

I'm generally one of those bah humbug type of people but I reckon it would be a blast around yours or Lee's at Christmas time. You guys should get together and hold an SAUK Christmas. Members could come in fancy dress complete with full masks so they can remain anonymous and obviously feel less anxious

I always wanted red plaid pants, so I got this for Black Friday:

I have some black combat boots coming in the mail too. :3 I've been needing a pair since I had to give away my last one. I also recently bought some other shoes from modcloth on sale, and they seem ambiguous for my plans to be non-gender conforming. So this is my first step to my gender-fluid journey. ^_^ I will fully pursue it after I move , and will be hitting up thrift shops in England! Super excited to see how different they are to here. I love thrift shopping.

If anyone has any recommendations for good charity shops I'd love to know!

I love thrift shopping too! The thing I've found with UK charity shops is, the quality of their stock usually depends on the individual shop, and the locale of the shop itself. Rich people towns (such as Salisbury and Winchester, to name two near me) tend to have much nicer stuff for me to browse than the ones in my local area (it's all Primark and George at Asda!).
Edit: not that I'm snobby about George and Primark, for they make up most of my wardrobe, but it's different when you're hunting for a secondhand bargain

Having said that, my local Help the Aged and Salvation Army shops are by far the best in terms of being well laid out and having things I'd actually want to buy.

Managed to get a new phone for a good price on Black Friday. Moving over to a new one is a pain though.

Oh hell yeah. Thrift Shop besties~

Haha well that makes sense! I'll be sure to hit up these places when we go out looking for new outfits. I always get a high when I find something I like. It's like a treasure hunt!

A 100w light bulb.

And yes, as I'm sure you're desperate to know, the fitting is a bayonet cap.

^ You would make a good Christmas themed Bond villain, but a nice one who's masterplan is to give Daniel Craig a tickle

Last thing I bought was a Pinhead from Hellraiser action figure. I need to think of where I can put it that won't make me look like a psycho if the gas man comes.

I got this today: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hidden-Game.../dp/B08HD6PXYC - a murder mystery puzzle thing made by an escape room company. It sounds pretty good, should make for a fun couple of hours at Christmas.
